Here's my entry:
Ed Gibb comes back from New York. He and Cate reunite with each other at school. They head to Gibb's office to talk about what direction they should turn in terms of their new relationship. Ed tells Cate that he really wants this job, and will stay at Liberty High until the end of the school year. He tells Cate he wants her to go to New York with him, but understands if she says no. Cate says she will think about it.
Bridget is soon about to graduate, but is informed that she has failed to complete a project that all students must complete and pass, and needs to do it in order to graduate the next month. With the help pf Kerry, Bridget will both complete, and pass the project, and is now able to graduate.
Kerry still manages to get straight "A" grades, and reunites with Kyle. They both admit that they never stopped loving each other, and decide to start their relationship where they left off.
Rory and CJ are up to their same old tricks again.
Grandpa (Jim) finally becomes determined to quit smoking once and for all, after his ex-wife, Laura, suddenly dies of lung cancer.
In the end:
Cate is torn between moving to New York with Ed or not, because she's afraid the kids won't want to leave all their friends back in Michigan. Cate also learns that she is pregnant with Gibb's child.
Cate confronts the kids, CJ, and Jim about both issues and they are all happy for her, and will support her in anything she chooses. Ed comes by the house, then, and tells Cate that he declined the offer because he decided he wasn't ready to leave Michigan just yet. He also says he has something important to say, Cate says she has big news as well. Gibb proposes and Cate says yes. Cate tells Gibb she's pregnant, he is shocked, but happy at the same time.
Cate has a son, who she names Paul.
Bridget decides to go to college, to be a fashion designer. And the family all stays in Michigan.
