First of all - thank your dad for helping with the issue. anda are going to face this issue several times in your life - as anda go to high school, university, jobs, etc. But, just remember so will many of those anda come in contact with at the new school, etc. will also be in the same position, and will be looking for close Friends that they can hang out with. Try to strike up a conversation - hei even mention fanpop, they may already be on it atau look into it - that will be a common ground for anda to have new friends.

As for your old friend - don't forget anda two could still keep in contact - thanks to the internet and all the social media that anda have these days. anda may not be able to hang out in person with her now, but if anda stay in contact, and anda two wind up back together in the same school atau what ever, anda will be able to resume the friendship.

Above all, remember do not let changing Friends cause anda too much stress. This is all part of growing up - we all have to go through this so many times in our lives. Instead of letting it get anda down, approach it as an adventure - and enjoy the experience.
