He told everybody that Fairytale was about an ex-girlfriend he could not forget for years, but he never mentioned her name or anything else private. A newspaper found her and had an ok story and a picture of her. She seemed very sweet, but after a few days she sold everything, including posing in a bikini and with her new love...

I think it's so awful when people sell stories to try and get a share of the fame and fortune...why can't she just be happy for him without having to get her fifteen minutes eh?!

I´m from Germany and in an interview with a newspaper he said that HE had abandoned her! Because he felt to young for a serious relationship. At this time he was 16 and she 14. But soon he repented this decision and wanted her back. But she had already a new boyfriend...

But which story is now the correct?

he wrote a song about her (like he said, it's not for her, it's about her), and I don't know what she have to say, that she loves him or sth....yeah right! I don't think that she used him for publicity. He started, with the song, of course, if he in some interview say that his song is about his ex-girlfriend that all newspapers will find that girl to write the story/stories. That's their job. And I believe that alex and his managers are not stupid ;)
