Through the forest, voices could be heard, laughter and discussion as Eight the Beta and ungu, lilac the Omega made their way across the distance between Eight's small, personal den to the clearing behind the treeline where the Omegas spent most of their days.
The ground was cold and hard this day, and moisture from the night before still covered it, sticking well to last winter's fallen pine needles, leaves and twigs. As they padded along an audible crunch could be heard with each paw step they took, but it was no concern to them, they had each other to be infatuated with currently and that was the simplest of all matters.

The further the couple traveled, the lebih their conversation turned topic. The joking became lebih settled and calm and they began speaking to one another, as equals, as a couple. They talked about many things, normal, every day, mundane and learned from one another.
ungu, lilac told Eight about how it was growing up in such a large pack, and what it was like having Zen as her older, protective brother and Eight told her about his siblings, from watching after Vincent to staving off Cowboy's latest rant and rambles. The two bonded and grew closer, became comfortable with one another's presence, just as it should be.

Eventually, the two came into the vicinity of the clearing and voices besides their own could be heard, Zen and his "Gaggle of Miscreants" as he called them. Eight signaled with his paw to his muzzle for ungu, lilac to be silent, then pointed to the ground as he took careful, quiet steps. She followed suit and the Serigala became silent, moving as quietly as possible, their heads low and ears alert, each paw falling carefully one before the other.
They edged up to the clearing, staying carefully behind and among the trees, using the available foliage to conceal themselves as they could. The Omegas didn't seem to take note of their presence, they simply sat around discussing various things as Eight and ungu, lilac crept around to a good vantage point before springing forth from the thick underbrush into the clearing, shouting as they leapt forth

To their surprise, they gained the attention of the Omegas, but not as they had intended to. Not one serigala, wolf jumped atau startled, Eight expected that Mingo would at least shriek.

"Nice try, lover boy!" Grunt shouted with rough voice from across the clearing at Eight, "We heard anda two coming a mile away!"
His twin, Darriel chimed in and laughed, "Yeah, talkin' it up a bunch today, aren't ya, lovebirds?"
The twins erupted into laughter and even little Mingo made smoochy noises and heckled.

Eight looked to ungu, lilac and she shrugged at him as she moved in and rolled over onto Mingo, encouraging a light scuffle with the twins.

Zen sat, as he usually did, apart from the action as he chuckled and observed. Eight walked over and took a kerusi, tempat duduk beside him as the scuffle broke and each serigala, wolf sat atau laid as they saw fit.
Zen looked to Eight and smiled,
"Its true, anda know... anda two were proceeding quite audibly. I would venture a guess that anda may be parting from your finely honed Beta skills..." Zen joked, a rare sight to behold, "I may have to talk to Deogee about your placement in the pack? Perhaps something easier for anda to cope with. You'd make a fine addition to the Omegas!" He laughed out loud and the others heckled him and encouraged their lead Omega.
Eight chuckled, grinned and rolled his eyes,

"Damn, c'mon Omega! Everybody's bustin' my chops today!" He patted Zen on the shoulder, a bit harder than he had intended, the wiry serigala, wolf swayed a bit beneath the impact of Eight's paw,
"Now I see where SHE gets it from..." Eight motioned to ungu, lilac with his paw, who sat just to his left, "Been givin' me hell all mornin'."

ungu, lilac stuck her tongue out at him and they each had a chuckle.

"So," Eight began turning to Zen, "What sort of zany fun're anda fella's plannin' on today?"

"Ohhh, many things, my Beta friend." Zen smiled, leading Eight on briefly, "Unfortunately, Deogee and I conversed earlier today, he requested that I send anda to him, if I this was your first stop today. I'm starting to think our Clan's Patron figure knows anda quite well, considering, well... here anda are." The white-furred serigala, wolf stated, matter-of-factly with a smile.

Eight cocked his head for a moment at the news, he looked in disbelief first at Zen, then at the ground when he realized that it must be true, coming from his scrawny Omega comrade.
He grumbled to himself in inheritances as he stood to his fours.
"Alright... I guess I'd better go see what he wants." He berkata sighingly, shaking some of the shaggy bulu from his eyes. He turned to ungu, lilac and smiled at her, "Duty Calls..." He stated as he put his forehead to hers briefly.

"I know. Try to go easy on the old codger, eh?" ungu, lilac joked softly and smiled warmly as her eyes met his.
"It ain't him I'm worried about... Old Wolf's gonna give me fits one of these days." Eight grinned, half in amusement and half in truth as he turned to leave.

Zen got up and waved off the others as he trailed behind Eight and up to his side.

The two paced seterusnya to one another as they made their way to the edge of the treeline and began pacing toward the Den.

"So, anda gonna escort me in, huh?" Eight asked.
"There's no foreseeable reason for me not to, don't anda agree?" Zen beamed a smile, "And why walk alone when anda can have a deep, intuitive conversation with a close friend?"

Eight nodded for a moment as the silence of the area crept between them as the went along.

"You wanna discuss me an' your sister, don'cha?" Eight asked lightheartedly, eyes forward, as anda would expect from such a serious conversation taking place between two males.


The two paced on between the treeline and the field in a southern direction as Zen calculated his seterusnya response.
It would be long enough between here and there to discuss what any big Brother would want to discuss between his Sister and Friend.






And so, Zen began,
"Hmm... Indeed, I do, my friend. Indeed I do."
