Humphrey, John, Angelica, and Kate went back to their den. Humphrey was happy for Cando.

Shakey, Salty, and Mooch came to the main entrance.

Garn and Debbie came out. Humphrey and Kate ran under the truck.
“Ready to go home, Deb?” Garn asked.
“I sure am!” Debbie replied.
Kate hit Humphrey, “You didn’t tell me they were leaving!”

“Oh we’re going home! This is the perfect song!” Debbie said.
“Yup! Let’s roll!” Garn said.
Humphrey and Kate jumped in the back. Garn used the Nitrous which made a sound like a thunder crack. As usual, Humphrey was startled sejak the noise. Humphrey rocked out to the song.

That’s the only part of the song Humphrey knew. He just mumbled the rest.

Another song came on. It wasn’t rock though. IT WAS METAL! “Death Rattle” sejak Pantera.
“Holy Crap! The heaviness! I Cinta it!” Humphrey yelled.
“Ahh so heavy! I can’t handle it!” Kate complained.
“Come on! This is pure awesomeness!”
Kate covered her ears from the heaviness. They eventually got to a diner, about 1:30 p.m. It was somewhere in Montana. Garn and Debbie got out of the truck and went into the diner. Humphrey opened the door of the camper.
“Kate, Kate! Wake up!”
“Huh? What?”

“Garn has the keys on the table. anda need to distract them and draw them away from the table.”

Kate approached the window Garn and Debbie were sitting.

Humphrey was standing right behind the entrance waiting to go in after Garn and Debbie came out. Garn and Debbie came out with a few fries and a half a burger. Humphrey went in and took the keys. He saw Garn and Debbie come back in. He took the detour route.
“Kate, I got them!”
“Good! Now get over here!’
Garn sat down, “Where are the keys to the truck?”
“I don’t know.”

Garn got up and started running. Humphrey and Kate got into the truck. Humphrey realized it wasn’t going to be as easy as he thought. He also saw Garn running out of the restaurant.
“Oh, How do I operate this thing? How do I operate thing?” Humphrey whimpered to himself.
“Hurry Humphrey!”
Humphrey put the keys in the ignition and started the truck. Garn was getting close.

Humphrey put his foot on the brake and put the truck in reverse. He let go of the brake and lightly tapped the gas pedal. He backed out of the parking spot, missing Garn sejak an inch. Humphrey sped off.
Garn kicked a rock, “Crap!”
“Don’t worry, Garn, it’s just a truck.”
“It had our wedding ring!”

“Whoa, Debbie, we’ll find it hopefully.”
Humphrey took the freeway entrance and went about 12 MPH on the freeway. There was a cop rolling behind him.
“Look at those lights, Kate. What does it mean?”
“It means anda have to stop.”

Humphrey stopped in the middle of the lane. The cop approached Humphrey.
“Hi big human in a blue suit.”
The cop looked puzzled.
“Do anda know how fast anda were going?”

Humphrey sped off. He was going 70 MPH. They were heading to Seattle, Washington.
