Why dose simon have new glasses?

Ian wanted Simon to wear these "cool" new glasses instead of his "boring" old glasses. But then Simon couldn't see and he fell off the piano... poor guy... :(

The glasses were telah diberi to him sejak "Uncle Ian" in an attempt to make him look sejuk when he performed. They weren't very effective as they were too thin for him to effectively see out of.
