Why do phans have the primeval urge to have sex with Erik/ The Phantom?

omg I cant even imagine that!!!! that totally ruins his character and I think phans should respect Erik cuz he loves Christine! I mean seriously i'm only 13 now but I watched this Filem when I was 6 atau 7 ive even seen the play and Cinta never dies. this is just so insane that phans want to seduce the phantom!!!

For some reason girls have always had a deep attraction to the "bad boy". This comes out a lot lebih in teenagers, particularly the younger ones and anda can see it in franchises such as TPotO where the bad boy is portrayed in a somewhat sympathetic light. They want to have sex with him because he's very sexual in the film: dark, brooding and possessive of Christine. He's always touching her and telling her what to do. Some people find this an attractive fantasy. Personally I don't see the draw. I've always looked past the mysterious and pitiful past to see that he is just a controlling, murderous stalker. They like him because he's dangerous, unsafe. It's part of the thrill.
