Is fishing considered hunting?

I think it really depends. Yeah, I understand that one is killing the animal for food, but there is lebih abundance.
Unless anda are fishing endangered ikan atau ikan who's numbers have declined over time, it is not really a big issue.

I go fishing for sport myself,but we always let them go away unharmed.

fishing hurts the fish. what would anda do if someone pushed a needle through your upper lip? i think that is torture for them too. firstly they have a hole on their upper mouth saat of all they are beaten to death after they are taken out of the water and third of all they are killed. in my view it is.

If your fishing for the meat than yes and If your fishing for endangered ikan than double yes! If your just fishing for the fun of the sport and letting them go after than No. So It all depends...

Gosh. I don't know. Catch and release is totally fine. If your fishing for food, and there is enough fish, totally not. If your fishing for survival, nope. If your fishing for fun, and then killing them, absolutely not.

i ikan a lot, but i always let the ikan go. ITs jsut a fun sport if anda let the ikan go. When anda dont and eat the ikan then i think that is considered hunting. I only did that once and it was there was a high population of this one ikan and it was wiping out all the others. so I hunted ikan for a good cause. Other than that i think fishing is just a fun sport if anda know what to do.

Fishing is hunting, but hunting is necessary for survival in the natural world. Well, at least it used to be. At least when anda hunt for food, anda play the predator and the prey has a chance to escape, like the case with a lion and a gazelle. But locking Haiwan like pigs, cows, chickens etc in a slaughter house and giving them no chance to escape while they are killed for food? That is pure murder. So is fishing/hunting for sport.

Though...I'm the kind of person who has to eat meat atau my body might fail on me so it's sad that I still eat all that. I stay away from endangered meat though. I don't need to eat exotic stuff, I just need the meat. 0_0

fishing depends on what anda are doing if anda are there to catch and cook atau catch and kill then yes because anda are killing a animal, but catch and return is not because anda are NOT killing the animal there for it depends on what anda are there to do.
