Anime Debat Soalan

Debat Topic 11: What do anda think about the circumstances for shounen these days?

We all know about Naruto, Bleach, and One Piece, which have many, MANY episodes, all adapted from manga. But noticeably, they're all several years old. Even the most baru-baru ini adaptations like them, such as Toriko and the newest Hunter X Hunter, are just Anime being made for older manga. Meanwhile, there is lots of good Manga out there these days that get adaptations, but they only get 12 atau 24 episodes a season. Is there anything anda think sets them apart from the older shounen? Has the fanbase changed? The standards for production studios? The standards for Anime and general?

Anime Debat Jawapan

Well I'm not sure about the nitty-gritty but the obvious, and already stated, fact is that most of the new adaptations of Manga don't have as many episodes.

But then I think that's to be expected. Most of the newer Manga (or at least the ones I'm reading) are still, well, new... due to not having much material yet. And since an Anime episode can equate to as many as five Manga chapters (if not more) then eventually they'll quickly run out of material to use. (Enter filler episodes and seasons !)

I personally can't see any glaring differences, fundamental atau not, between new shounen and old shounen, but then as long as an anime/manga continues to entertain me, I don't really focus atau care for the small print and fine details...

To tell the truth I don't really read a lot of manga. So I can't add any opinions in that aspect. However, there have been so many animes that I have seen that end up not getting a 2nd season, and I don't understand why. I guess the peminat base just wasn't there and so they get Lost in the sea of lebih popular animes.

With these, they were so good that I actually went back and either read atau am in the process of Membaca the Manga for those anime.

I don't follow Bleach atau One Piece but I do watch Naruto and while I absolutely Cinta the anime, there are a lot of filler episodes. I think it is just a way for the Anime studios to draw out the story so it will continue to be watched. Once a series ends, usually the hype of it goes down.

I wish these useless filler episodes could be better used atau better yet, the funds that made those episodes could have been put into a smaller Anime budgets.

I guess some studios pick Manga that has a long and expandable story line and they stick with those to roll in the big money. And then they like making the shorter series for people that don't like following the long animes. Why they choose one Manga over the other, I don't know.

I think what it comes down to is the amount of support and money the Anime receives. We should really try to support some of the smaller series more. Not saying the MegaAnimes are bad, just maybe they aren't everything.

To be honest, I can't really komen about anything to do with Manga and their adaptation into the anime. However, I can give my opinion about shounen... watching stuff like Bleach and One Piece, and even Fairy Tail (if that qualifies as 'long' enough to be a part of the same thing as OP and Bleach) I have noticed that they are all similar in several respects - they have the same general type of humor, a fair amount of filler episodes and a large character base. I think, if Manga is adapted into an anime, and only gets 12-24 episodes, then, either it is the company that produces the Anime from the manga, atau the Manga artist/creator, who wishes it to be that way, otherwise it must simply due to there being popular Anime like Bleach, One Piece and Naruto that get a large number of the Anime audience and, therefore, gain much larger fanbases and length of the Anime itself, whereas the other ones are ignored, to a certain degree, because of that.
