If anda can find it, I would recommend "Sentimental Journey"--it's an anthology about girls wistful for an early love. Kind of "Love, Japanese Style". For some Anime with grand romances that come early (you don't have to wait until the last episode atau never), there's The World of Narue, Romeo x Juliet, and Fushigi Yugi.

Chibi Vampire Karin(anime/manga) is good if anda dig that over dramatic vampire school girl crush kinda deal. The Anime Shuffle isn't that bad either including kannazuki no miko that has crazy Cinta segitiga, segi tiga thing going on but it's awsome cuz it has a some fighting and gundam like robots in it.

I highly recommend that anda should watch NANA. It's about two women named Nana who both want to live their dreams. One wants to live her life in Tokyo with her boyfriend and the other wants to become big in Tokyo as a rock star. The tunjuk involves real world issues like relationship, marriage, and other adult issues. It's got a lot of comedy, romance, and it's quite realistic. It's one of my kegemaran shows! It's also a real tear jerker once anda get further into the anime.

Maybe anda can watch Special A and Kimi ni Todoke.
