Homura Akemi.

HOMURA AKEMI.
*Spoilers below!~*

Homura had to stay in the hospital a lot due to a hati, tengah-tengah condition she had to live with, and missed a lot of school. Therefore, Homura did not have any friends.

Her first friend was Madoka Kaname, a girl she met when she transferred to a Middle School once her hati, tengah-tengah condition became somewhat better. Homura's health problems made her constantly embarrassed (she never knew how to do basic math due to being in the hospital with homeschooling and missing a lot of the curriculum) was a horrible athlete, and was extremely timid and would cry in front of the class. However, Madoka saw past all that and offered to take Homura to the nurse.

One hari when Homura's walking utama from school, feeling sorry for herself and thinking that she shouldn't even be living, the Witches (dark beings in the PMMM series that kill humans) trap her in their labyrinth (a Supernatural barrier that normal humans get lost+ killed in.) Who comes to her rescue? Madoka and Mami Tomoe, who sold their souls to Kyubey (the antihero of the series) who defeat the Witch and let Homura in on their double life as fighters of Supernatural crime.

One day, both Madoka and Mami die right before Homura's eyes as they go up against a big boss, and Homura realizes that she just Lost the two people who meant the most to her (Madoka mostly). Homura decides to sell her soul, the only thing that makes her human, to Kyubey, the wish she trades her soul for being to save Madoka sejak going back in time. She wants to prevent Madoka from ever selling her soul in the first place, and defeating the big boss Witch with her own hands.
So Homura repeats the same bulan that she met Madoka over and over and over again, watching Madoka and all of Madoka's Friends die every single time, and there's nothing she can do about it but repeat her past of having Madoka forget who she is, make Friends with Madoka again, have Madoka die atau sacrifice herself for Homura's safety, atau just plain almost die herself. It's an endless cycle that Homura's willing to endure. (In one timeline, Madoka actually almost turns into a witch, and Homura has to kill Madoka with her own hands in order to prevent Madoka from turning into one. She has to murder her own best friend. ;A;)

**EVEN BIGGER SPOILERS BELOW**

And when Homura thinks she finally saves Madoka in the most baru-baru ini time line in the series (Madoka had not sold her soul yet in this timeline), Madoka actually becomes a martyr, sells her soul to become a god, and vanishes forever, leaving Homura in a dimension she can never reverse, and Madoka never comes back to life, period. Her Friends all forget she even existed as she becomes a god of hope, a concept. The only person in the world that remembers who Madoka is would be Homura, who gave her soul to save her.

Tell me that isn't tragic. ;A;

Homura reminds me a lot of Furude Rika in the Higurashi series. She has to go through the same idea of a time loop and has the same character concept as well.

Joseph Jobson from Blassreiter.

When he was a baby, Joseph was found sejak a priest in the arms of his parents who were trying to make it to the church so that he could be raised in an orphanage. He grew up in the orphanage and was a kind hearted little boy, caring for all the younger orphans. One day, he befriended a roti seller but a group of xenophobic children pushed his cart, troli into the river and blamed it on Joseph. When he got around the age of 15, Joseph was reunited with his older sister, Sasha, due to the help of her colleague, Xargin. One night, Sasha was beaten to death due to the fact that she was a foreigner and the church that Joseph was raised in was burned down sejak xenophobic locals, having the priest have a hati, tengah-tengah attack right before the happening.

Takano Miyo from Higurashi No Naku Koro Ni.
Takano was a sweet little girl growing up but one day, her parents were killed in a bus accident. She was sent to a government ran orphanage where the caretakers would abuse her as well as her friends. Once being able to escape to a phone booth, Takano called her father's colleague, Mifune Takano, and he came and adopted her. Takano loved Mifune with all her hati, tengah-tengah and believed what he berkata about the Hinamizawa Syndrome was true, however, his colleagues all laughed at him, calling him crazy, which broke young Takano's heart, causing her to go on a crusade to bring justice to her late grandfather sejak proving his work correct.

Yuri Nakamura

----WARNING: Spoilers-----
Yuri is the oldest of four siblings, with two younger sisters and one younger brother. They lived with their parents in a middle-class residence, and were described as being very well off in life.

When their parents left the house one hari for personal business, a group of robbers broke in and attempted to rob the house. Unfortunately, they couldn't find where the family's valuables were, so they turned to Yuri, the eldest, to take them to the family's prized possessions. They required she bring them valuables atau else they would kill off her siblings at ten-minute intervals. Yuri wasn't sure which items were particularily valuable, and fell while carrying a large vase down a flight of stairs. She wasted too much time and the robbers murdered her siblings. She had never been told sejak her parents where in the house the priceless items were kept.

After that, she began to soalan life in a deeper manner. Why did her siblings have to die when they were just innocent children? How could she have Lost everything within 30 minutes? Her failure to save her siblings became her inspiration to incite a rebellion against the "higher being" who looks after the afterlife (who she assumes is God) and those who work for Him.
----End of Spoliers------

What I find so sad about her life, is that everything she loved was taken away from her in the angkasa of 30 minit and the event caused her to create an rebellion against god.

I am EXTREMELY late, but... ah what the hell. Ichinose Kotomi from Clannad.

Well for starters, she was extremely anti-social, so she didn't have many friends. She didn't have many desires, she was just that appreciative of her peaceful and harmonizing life. Then, her birthday came up, and she was especially excited since one of her first friends, Tomoya, was coming over with his friends. And she was also really happy that her parents were also there to celebrate with her, and on bahagian, atas of that, they were going to get her a stuffed bear. However, a business trip came up for them and they couldn't be there for her birthday. They told her that something important had come up, so they couldn't be there, even though they promised her. Kotomi was obviously not pleased, and her parents tried to encourage her and tell her they WILL get her her stuffed bear. In return, she screamed, "No I don't care about that! anda both are liars! I hate you! I hate you!!" However, little did she know that those would be the last words she will ever say to her parents. On her birthday, her maid was sick, so she wasn't there to watch Kotomi, and neither Tomoya atau his Friends came, so she was all alone. She waited and waited, only to find a strange man upon her door. He asked if he could come in and she told him that her parents told her not to. He seemed surprised knowing that Kotomi didn't know, so he told her... what happened to her parents. The plane they were on had malfunctioned, and crashed into the sea. Both of her parents were killed. She slammed the door. And for awhile, she watched the news, which was about the same plane that had malfunctioned. Then the phone rang, and she would run around the house, screaming, "Mommy! Daddy! Where are you?" where she would trip and say, "Come back! I'll be good! I'll be good!" while tears streamed down her face. Then she would go to the window, looking up in the sky saying, "Alright, I'll be good. I'll study and read buku and become smart too. So please... give me back Mommy and Daddy."

Yeah, that had to be one of the most hati, tengah-tengah wrenching scenes I have ever watched. She's also a nerd too, there's always lebih to a nerd than good grades :'(
