When I was younger (and even now) I always thought that Ryo/Ryou Bakura from Yu-Gi-Oh! was quite lonely. Considering he got bullied frequently and he doesn't hang out with anyone. I always felt sorry for him :c

Sawako from Kimi ni Todoke was really lonely. Everyone was scared of her appearance because of her likeness to Sadako from the Ring Filem (both in looks and name). So she grew up pretty isolated and feared. But in reality she is so sweet. I really really liked her and her gentleness.
