What is Alluka Zoldyck's gender?

Ive decided to watch hunter x hunter recently and Ive got the the arc with Alluka, Ive noticed that Kilua calls her his little sister yet everybody else calls her Kiluas younger brother , atau they would refer to her as him. Is just really confusing , I personally think shes a girl, does anyone know what her gender acually is ?

Alluka is a male but the point that killua calls him his little sister however contradicts it...well in my opinion He's a boy alright but some Anime characters are just left gender unknown just like Alluka and Crona...even the creators themselves berkata they don't their real genders...well at least in Crona's case...
