Yuri and Kyou are awesome. I don't watch Haruhi Suzumiya. I hate Light and Kiyomi.

Measuring out the reasons why I can't stand each one of them, I would have to say that Kyou is the one I can tolerate the most easily.

Light is my least favorite for very strong reasons that could not be changed unless he were to change. I disagree with his motives and morals 100%. No human has the right to judge other humans; only God does. He is arrogant, and underhanded, as well. In the end, he only does everything for personal gain, and is incapable of caring for other human beings. We all know that killing is wrong, in the first place, but his main fault is that he's trying to become a deity. There were endless reasons why I can never stand him. He disgusts me beyond all reason. The way he smiled when he killed L, the way he treated and thought of women, everything....

Yuri, I have loathed from the beginning. Even when she stopped bullying Kanade, I still couldn't stand her. I just hate many things about her personality. She's strong-headed, she's a brat, she's a nuisance, she's rude, and so on and so forth blah blah blah.

Haruhi is just terrible. She's obnoxious, bratty, and a huge bully. Her harassment to Mikuru, in real life, would not be funny. It's actually something that could deeply hurt someone if it happened to them. Most girls that age don't feel comfortable going out in front of everyone in a provocative bunny suit, you know. It's humiliating and awful. Haruhi MUST get her way, no matter the circumstances, and her excuse being her boredom. She is simply so MEAN!

Kyou has a terrible attitude and was willing to betray her own sister for her own gain, Tomoya, but she isn't nearly as bad as the rest of these, for me.

Kiyomi. She is arrogant towards women who she feels is less intelligent than her, thus thinking she is automatically better than them. I do not care if she is sophisticated or intelligent; she is an awful character, and I think bringing her back was a mistake. Though it doesn't seem so, she has a catty side to her. She seems like one of those women who is critical of other women in order to make them feel better about themselves. I can understand why Light didn't care for her company. Rather than just readying to be the 'goddess' of his new world, she brought up competition with Misa, when that wasn't needed, at all. She tried to drag Light into that. Plus, she killed Mello, my sweet little love! I know she didn't have much of a choice, but I cannot help but feel a little angry at her.

Illusion: Um, it's called Yuri is a kind and caring person who wants to protect everyone, because she failed at protecting her family. Brat, rude, nuisance? No.

I agree with you about Light, and I don't really like Takada either. However, I really like Kyou, Haruhi, and Yuri.

I hate Kyou because of her attitude and personality. I am aware that Yurippe wanted to protect the people around her, but I hate her personality aside from her bravery and boldness as a leader! I don't like strong-headed people like that. I don't hate Kyou for being in love with someone, but in her situation, it was her own sister, and when she was acting as if she was supporting Ryou in the OVA, and while Tomoya was dating Ryou, she asking Tomoya if he wanted to do a "warm up" kiss. I can't imagine doing anything like that do my sister. If I was in love with the same person as her, I would be hurt, but I will always cherish my sister more than any man that may ever come into my life. I would stay away from the situation and forget about him, and I think she would, too. Overall, their personalities just do not appeal to me and annoy me. Sheesh!

Am I not allowed to hate a character just because you or the majority of everyone loves them?

I adore Haruhi's outgoing personality.
I also like Yuri, Light, and Kyou.

Light is one of the most biggest jerks ever but I still do like his character. He's interesting. It honestly doesn't really matter to me how evil a character is. As long as they have unique and interesting qualities I'll like them. Besides, I usually always like really smart characters.
I don't care for Takada. But I do love Yuri and Kyou.
