Jet and the freedom fighters

ok, so im Membaca Lord of the Flies for school. any of anda read it? i keep thinking back to jet and his freedom fighters. like Jet is Jack, Sokka is ralph, longshot is simon, smellerbee is piggy(more in book 2 than in the episode "Jet") and katara and aang are like roger and maurice(at first). i dont know, anyone else whos read the book see the connection?
