So I was Membaca a post on tumblr that got me thinking. Basic gist is that someone berkata Azula couldn’t do anything on her own. My initial thought was to dispute that but then I kind of thought about it and realized this person was kind of right. But not just about Azula. After really thinking about it I realized that none of the characters really can! Hear me out guys; I’m not saying that the Avatar characters are useless on their own, but they are so much stronger when they have others to help them out. In fact I’d like to argue that this is an intended theme in Avatar. Like these characters...

One of the things I noticed about Avatar is the significance of the spirit disguises. Each disguise speaks volumes about the character using it and reflects their personality sort of like their bending styles.

I’ll start with the Painted Lady and Katara;



The real Painted Lady was a lot of things for the people of Jang Hui. She was a protector. A healer. A beacon of hope. She was a water spirit with assumably a gentle heart.

This is not unlike Katara herself. One of Katara’s key character traits was her hopefulness and the hope she instilled in other people. And in assuming the persona...

This story is about Azula when she's on the path to insanity. This is what I think her actions, and thoughts were in between scenes from the series. Let's begin. Keep in mind that none of this is fact, it's just fanfiction.

"WOAH! That was so sweet Mom! How do anda get so good?" berkata Lee.

"Lots and lots of practice my son. Now anda try it. If i have good water bending powers then anda should see if anda are powerful too."

"ok..." Lee shifted his body, just as his mom told him to, and wacked a leaf off the tree, which patheticly fell to the ground. "What! That was retarded!" Lee berkata in frustration.
