So in my last artikel I mentioned that I wanted to compare two of my kegemaran characters; Azula and Kuvira. And that's just what Imma do.

First and foremost they are both cunning and manipulative. The two of them share that crazy ability to just twist their words to make their will appeal to their opposers. In the way Azula got Ty-Lee to sertai her side, Kuvira was able to get that one small Earth village on her side.

Likewise both seem to have this large interest with politics and military. They both have very meticulous strategies as to how to take the seterusnya place. They both want dominance. The only difference is that Azula's intentions weren't born out of a good nature as Kuvira's were. Alongside this is the fact that they both took control over large Earth Kingdom powerhouses. They also both did so using berkata kingdom's very own military force. Kuvira rallied up a bunch of Zaofu citizens and set out as Azula found control of the Dai Lee.

Aside form political and military interests, Azula and Kuvira were both child prodigies. Ozai among others recognized Azula's vast firebending abilities. She mastered at least 14 (if I remember right) firebending forms. Likewise Suyin recognized that Kuvira was very skilled when she was only 8 years old.

The two are also both rather smug and confidant. The two know they have skills and they flaunt it. They do this to the point of almost putting themselves in danger. Kuvira in going for a one-on-one with Korra, and Azula trying to take on all of team Avatar plus Zuko and Iroh sejak herself in The Chase.

Going off of that that thought, both took down (or very nearly) took down the Avatar. And while the Avatar was in the Avatar state at that. (Though Kuvira's ultimate victory came when Korra was not in berkata state). Azula took Aang with a flash of lightning, he was only save because Katara was there. And Kuvira very well would have had Korra if not for Jinora and Opal. Right down to surprise interventions, their face off with the Avatar was similar.

Of course there are all those little things like when Kuvira motioned for her guards to take Suyin and the twins awasy vs the time when Azula ordered her guards to take care of Zuko an Iroh in (I think) the Avatar State. And the whole battle scene with Korra. When she was tossed to the ground and her hair came undone, all I could think of was Azula's final agni kai.

Don't get me wrong though, Azula and Kuvira (though similar in many ways) are also very different. They are both very unique characters and I Cinta them both.

It is well known that the show's creators based each bending style on an existing martial art. Waterbending was based off link, Earthbenders off link, for the most part, Firebenders off link and Airbenders link.

While ATLA focused on mastering these fighting styles in a physical sense that is only on single facet of the training that goes into becoming a master of the martial arts. Body is the easiest. Mind was covered though the opening of the link, a real concept featured in tantric and yogic traditions of Hinduism and Buddhism. If we assume that the writers put as much study and research...

With everything going on in this spot I kind of wanted to say a little something nice about the 4 main characters. While yeah it was harder for me to talk nicely about some characters I decided to dig deep and give it a try.

Part 1; What I Like about Each Character
Sato

Easy one first; I Cinta Sato because she's sweet and kind no matter what. Despite being cheated on and lied to she stuck with the team and didn't turn to the dark side as part of some petty vengeance scheme. I Cinta how she was generous in funding the Fireferrets and allowed them to stay in her mansion. I also admire her bravery...

Korra and Mako stop Ciuman and both let go of their lips. Korra is finally happy to finally have the guy she had loved for so long. Mako is also happy to finally

realize that Korra was really the one for him. Meanwhile inside the pro bending match. Asami saw Bolin holding merah jambu flowers.

"Who are those for?" Asami asked.

"There for Korra. I had fun on my tarikh with her. So I thought I should give her flowers" Bolin berkata with a smile. Asami had a frown on her face.

"Bolin i'm sorry but I think Korra and Mako just got together. He just broke up with me and.... but Bolin cut her off.

"WHAT! She's...

I was Membaca zanhar1's artikel link and one thing she berkata really popped out at me. Here's the quote:

"The main reason as to why I think TLOK gets so much hate is because ATLA was such a great tunjuk that sejak comparison, Korra just doesn't stand a chance. I mean Avatar was a masterpiece with unbeatable and lovable characters (to the point where one can even Cinta the character they hated to some degree!) and a wicked plot. With that in mind I think people set their standards too high. They were expecting something that would blow Avatar away atau at least match up with the show. And when Korra was...

The seterusnya morning, Korra spent her time with Pema and cleaning the house while her Friends went into city. Korra didn't even acknowledge Mako at breakfast. Mako left with a guilty look on his face. Not only has he been lying to his girlfriend about his feelings for Korra and the kiss, he's been causing Korra pain and now has pushed her away. He just didn't know what to do. He fell for both girls. Each is special in their own way. Either one he chose he wouldn't be happy because there would be someone getting hurt, and Mako didn't want that.

Korra still has that stone look on her face. Pema has...
