It's a good strategy adopted by presidents in the past and Obama wisely took the tried-and-true method. He took the correct action!

But the U.S. government provides funds (AID) to both Israel and Palestine. Both are struggling to be recognized as a statehood and these two nations understand their collective cultures better than any group outside their shared communities. In my heart, I want to recognize Palestine as a statehood and I want Palestine to recognize Israel as a state and live side by side peacefully. But intellectually, I know this must be resolved between the two governments. So in the end, Obama's decision was the right one.

My family is from Palestine. They don't fight, yet my little cousin died a month ago. I don't hate Israel, but as a more wealthy, more educated country, they should take responsibility and let the Palestinians in. Just do it! Stop sending money! Stop giving aid to a country who can support themselves! Give it to aid for Palestine. They need to stop fighting, and live in the same region respectfully. My friend is Israeli, and she felt really bad that my little cousin died and even attended the funeral we had here in the USA. She is really awesome...
