MJsValentine LOL. I think Mattel has to look up the definition "fairytale" again in their dictionaries. MT/MT2 and the word 'fairytale' can't be used in the same sentence, unless the words 'is not a' is put between them.

MajorAbbey A fairytale adventure?! Seriously? MJsValentine beat me to it; this is not a fairytale. You know, Mattel, the least you can do is admit that you don't think fairytales are "cool" enough for your audience anymore; don't try and pass these off as them. That said, that's some decent artwork. The castle in the background actually looks pretty.

beckstar It's not a 'fairytale' and I'm sick of Mattel's definition of what a 'fairytale' is... It's almost as if they are trying to trick people into thinking they are the 'old' Mattel by putting that label onto movies. But actually it's just a tacky superficial movie with fashion and purchasing..etc.

beckstar Fashion forward mermaids make me sick to the stomach too to be honest...I miss the way Barbie looked when I was a little girl :( I can't ever remember a Barbie showing her stomach years ago. But this is the 'norm' of what Barbie is now. Little girls dress like this, they have mobiles, they have twitter, they watch vampire shows, even speak like adults. Some are even 'fashion forward' wearing brand names. Sigh
