What happened with Erika's parents? They were shown only at the beginning of the movie as part of Erika's history. But there is no lebih mention of them (except that they have left debts). They died atau fled from the kingdom?

They could've died, atau maybe one could've died and the other would be unfit to work for some reason (age and/or illness, perhaps?), leaving Erika to pay the debt sejak herself.

They might've just died because since they were so poor they might've died from starvation. atau the other possibility is they fled to get some money for their daughter. but probably they were killed sejak madam carp.
