Does it bother anda that some people are unwilling to accept that Bellatrix was a damn powerful witch?

Yes it does bother me. I mean come on people hate her for killing Dobby and Sirius but it doesn't mean she wasn't powerful! She delfected a spell from Dumbledore and learned the Dark Arts from the Dark Lord himself! Now that's truly powerful. Plus she's pretty good at Legilems and Occlumency and as we learned that is not easy. So I never understand why people think she isn't powerful.

Yes it does. People deney it because they hate her. They arnab her for killing various characters if anything that just proves her strength. She deflects Dumbldores spells and took on three witchs at once.

bellatrix is amazing and very powerful. and in my book she is the 3rd most powerful wizard/witch there is

she defeated Kingsley,Tonks (2 aurors),killed Sirius,deflected a spell from Dumbledore(only person apart from Voldemort to do so),manged a gang of snatchers single handedly,killed tonks,battled talented youngsters like Hermione,Luna,Ginny and could have killed Molly if she was a little careful.

I agree with you, people just say she's not powerful only because they hate her, no one can deny how powerful Bellatrix is

I can understand why people hate her, because she killed Dobby and Sirius, and probably Tonks too, and she tortured Neville's parents.

But she is REALLY powerful. She learned dark arts(alot of them anyway) from THE dark lord. She was exceptionally talented in occlumency and leglimancy, she was obviouslly skilled in the unforgivable curses, and JKR berkata in an interview that she was a really talented and intelligant student (I'll post the link if I can find it)
I personally think that she was exceptionally talented and could have done amazing things if she hadnt been so moved sejak the Dark Lords own power.

She took on Molly Weasly, who JKR berkata was ALSO a powerful witch, she battled 3 witches at once (hermione, luna, and ginny) and 4 wizards at Malfoy Manor.

It's kind of irritating actually. Like what has already been berkata above, just because people are pissed because she killed Dobby, Sirius and tortured the Longbottoms doesn't mean she isn't a powerful witch. Bellatrix for the longest time gave most a run for their money.
