Beyal sat in the middle of a field. With the vast sky with its many stars above him and the cool ground beneath him Beyal felt perfectly at peace with himself. Sometimes the monk wanted to get away from the others. He was so different from them all in so many ways. His accent, his thoughts, the way he was brought up, the senarai just kept going. Beyal on most occasions could find at least one difference between him and the others a day.

When the others fell asleep was the perfect opportunity to steal away. He'd go back eventually, but for now he'd rather sit and watch the stars swirl above him....
