In 2009, at the height of Jonas Brothers escalating popularity and produced a 3D konsert movie, Nickelodeon decided to batal Naked Brothers Band and even worst they decided to disband them. As a result only the name of the band was not used and they uses "Nat and Alex" as a new and independent band.

In 2013, history almost repeated itself. The same thing happened this time instead of Jonas Brothers, it is the British boyband One Direction. And BTR peminat-peminat started to speculate if Big Time Rush will be disbanded because of this coincidental patterns, their TV tunjuk ended and solo projects came in...
