*Told from Breenan's POV*
It was a quiet spring hari outside. The birds were fluttering there wings, and children were laughing. I was sitting on a park bench seterusnya to Booth, and he was holding his hand in mine.
"They look so happy." I murmured.
"Who? The birds, moms, atau kids?" Booth asked.
"Well, the birds do look happy"-I shot a glance at a blue jay-"But I was mostly talking about the moms." Booth looked at me, and his eyes widened.
"What?" He asked, and he smirked. "Are anda saying anda want to be a mom?"
"No!" I yelled. Everyone looked in my direction.
"What I am saying is that they look happy. I did not say I wanted to be a mom." I whispered. I stood up. "I am tired. I am going to go home."
"It is 2:34 in the afternoon!" Booth whispered.
"I am tired. And hungry. So leave me alone." I walked away. And I swear I saw Booth laughing.
When I woke up, I was surronded in darkness. I looked at my clock. Ugh. 12:18 p.m. Wait. What time did I come home? 2:40? Gosh, I was out for 10 hours! I got out of bed, and went to the bathroom. I looked at myself in the mirror, and gasped. The woman in the mirror looked tired, and she had bags undre her eyes. She also looked... sick. Just as I had that thought, my hand clamped over my mouth. I was sick, just as my face had indicated. After I washed my mouth, I went back to bed.
When I woke, again, someone knocked at my door. I flinched. Who would come to my house this early? I looked at my clock. 8:54?! Apperantly, Father Time had a grudge against me. I got in my bathrobe, and walked sluggishly to the door. When I opened it, it was Booth.
"Uh... why the heck aren't anda dressed?" He asked, suprised. "I guess I Lost track of ti-" I could not finish. I felt nauseous again, and streaked to the bathroom. Booth followed me. After I had finished, Booth looked at me, worried.
"Are anda ok?" He asked. "Yeah, I am fine. Let me just get something for my stomach." I went to my medicine cabinet, and dug through it. But just before I found the pain reliver, I found something else. I gasped. How many days had it been? 1...2...3...4...5. No. No. "NO!" I screamed. Booth ran in. "What is it, Bones?" I could not answer. I just kept inhaling, and exhaling.
"I think I am pregnant."
