Looking for something to broaden my imagination.

The His Dark Materials trilogy was really good. (Golden Compass is the first.) If anda haven't read them, those are the ones about the girl who's traveling in cari of a kidnapped friend. I loved it so much because of the religious aspect of it, and the world that was so creative.

There's this book called The Little Prince. I'm not sure if it's what you're looking for, considering it's lebih of a children's book, but it's the most original story I have ever read. It probably won't take anda long to get through, but I absolutely loved it. It's "memorable," but not a "dark, exotic fantasy." I think anda should give it a chance.

Okay, I have a ton of buku that are good intellectual reads. Sherlock Holmes, The Beekeeper's Apprentice, and Ender's Game. I loved the last because of the whole view on humans... Life of Pi was also pretty good, but none of these here are what anda sound like anda want. I dunno.

anda might wanna try Graceling too. I haven't actually read that one, but a few people have recommended it to me.

i strongly recommend the his dark materials trilogy too. also, the inkworld series sejak cornelia funke (the first one is inkheart) east sejak edith patteau, the pisau of never letting go sejak patrick ness, and if your into Fantasi i would say anda should read Eragon (its not my usual style but its a great book) hope i helped :)

The Chronicals of Narnia? There are seven buku I think. :P
