I just completed watching all the episodes again, and I have a question. What were they thinking when they casted Kennedy? I mean instantly she is part of the scooby gang, and no one really tells her off. I think she is the worst character on Buffy.

I agree. To me it felt like they needed a Cinta interest for Willow at the last minit and made Kennedy.
I too think that she is probably the worst character on Buffy.

Kennedy was the most annoying and pointless character from Season 7! NO ONE can replace Tara, the sweetest and most beautiful soul to grace a t.v. tunjuk ever. I think that she should never have been made a Cinta interest for Willow. She should've just stayed as a VERY annoying potential slayer (if they absolutely felt they had to keep her and she couldn't just DIE)! ;) LOL

i found that their relationship was too soon after Tara. i mean Willow tried to end the world in fact she came close to it, she killed Warren, came close to killing Jonathon and Andrew and almost killed her own friends. It is obvious how much Tara meant to Willow and having her in a relationship so soon afterwards (or what seems soon to me) seems to disrespect what she did at the end of season six after Tara was killed.

Well, they needed someone who had a spark of Faith in her, and yet a touchy side also. She didn't really do anything bad in the show. All the potential slayers were apart of the gang, but not part of the Scooby Gang. Kennedy was apart of it, because Willow was interested in her, and Kennedy was interested in Willow. They ended up going out and being gf/gf so yea

Kennedy was so annoying i hate her. She was just part of the scoobies cause she was dating willow. where as xander, willow, anya, spike, angel, oz, tara, and corrdila proved there worth but kennedy didn't have to anything. She just got a free pass into their circle.
I'm almost angry at willow for dating such a horrible person.
That very unattractive picture of me is what my face looks like when i watch kennedy, once again i'm sorry bout the not very prettyness of me in that pic.

Faith does tell Kennedy off. And I think a couple of the other girls do as well. And she wasn't "instantly" part of the Scooby gang -- no lebih than any of the other slayers who had arrived first. We hardly ever see her interact with Anya, Xander, Buffy, Spike, Giles, unless it's for training. Which hardly makes her "part of the gang."

I wouldn't say that Kennedy is a particularly strong atau likeable character, but I also wouldn't say she's the worst. atau that she's a "replacement Tara." Joss wasn't trying to replace Tara when he created the relationship between Willow and Kennedy. He was trying to make Willow grow as a character. Willow had a lot of guilt over what happened with Tara (as we see when she turns into Warren). That guilt (and her fear of losing control of her powers) severely hindered her as a person, and as a character. Kennedy was the one who helped Willow let go of the guilt and the fear and become a goddess. (Literally.)
