this is possibly the most asked soalan on this spot, Spuffy atau Bangel? I am personally a Spuffier! sorry Bangeliers.... my theory is that Bangel peminat-peminat aren't ready to see something new, they enjoy the old boring first Cinta deal that is basically in every movie, book, tv show, ect. I totally respect that I just find it to overly played and boring, first Cinta is cute but like I berkata it's overly played and let's get real here most of the time in real life you're not always going to be with your first love, you're going to eventually and gradually alih on anda might not even end up with your saat love, I'm not saying that it doesn't happen in real life cause sure it does, but it really doesn't happen all the time like they make it seem in things like I berkata movies, books, tv shows, ect. I will be honest here I really liked Bangel in Seasons 1&2 and sort of Season 3, but I really hated when Angel left her and a few other things. I only actually like Angel when he's not around Buffy he sort of pisses me off he's always like 'Buffy I can't be with anda because I'm a vampire, but oh no I want to be with anda because I'm good I have a soul take me in' (not actually quote on quote but anda can tell through the way he speaks sometimes to Buffy that that is really what he's saying) like which is it gonna be pal? make up your freaking mind! I think Angel does Cinta Buffy, but I feel that he's lebih in Cinta with trying to redeem himself... I mean Angel almost killed Buffy twice WITH a soul once in the episode Angel in season 1 and once in Graduation hari Part 2 season 3 when he drank from Buffy, I know Buffy sort of pushed him to, but still he almost killed her, he almost killed the woman he loved to save himself! people on the Bangel vs Spuffy spot always bring up how Spike attempted to rape Buffy, people he DID NOT have a soul, although there I always feel like there was a part of him that never Lost his soul but at the time he attempted to rape Buffy again WITHOUT a soul his emotions got the better of him and he Lost control. these are SOME of the reasons why I Cinta Spuffy-

Xeginy Though I like Spike, and I think his character arc was fantastic, I just can't come down on the side of Spuffy. (I'm not a Bangel fan, either.) The biggest thing that I don't like about him is that he was constantly trying to convince Buffy to isolate herself so she could be with him. Trying to convince the person you care about to abandon her friends and family is emotional manipulation at it's finest. I think it's going to take more than a few isolated quotes to convince me that Spike is anywhere near good enough to be with Buffy. But, I don't think Buffy should be with either one of them. It seems like Buffy spends way too much time worrying about her current/last/next boyfriend. And when that is happening, her relationships with her family and her friends always suffers. That's not healthy. Do you remember that speech Buffy gave Angel, at the end of Season 7, with her cookie dough analogy? See, now that was pretty insightful. She just needs to chill out for a while and stop stressing out so much about dudes.

x-missmckena-x With Spuffy i always end up feeling really sorry for Spike, he wanted her so badly to love and respect him and she never did, infact she only respected him right at the end when he sacrificed himself. if you want to say anything you can really say Spike was too good for her in a sense! I am a bangeler but not for the reasons you think, i love the complexity of them being a forbidden love, i always love the forbbien loves, and no spuffy is not the same in that sense. Spike lvoed her even when he was evil, angel wihtout a soul was Angelus and that was even more fun! Angel could have been her 1st 6th 500th love but its the forbiddeness that grips me, on top of that i adore the high school years cast and chemistry of the cast together so i love nearly all the couples from those days!!

undeadmuffin I am and will always be a Spuffier. Bangel just didn't have that *click* ya know? They always seemed to be the sort of immature high school thing (for Buffy)... Ever since I first saw Bangel it annoyed the heck outta me.. they just seemed very dumb IMO.

pompeybabe I love both and I feel like everybody comes down on me because of it. I just don't understand why people cannot accept that Buffy loved both of them. Yeah, she probably loved Angel more. He was her first love and she lost her virginity to him...obviously she's going to always love him because of this! She gave him up to save the world despite her love for him which clearly killed her! But she did it, and she's never forgotten him. I have always believed however that Spike matured her a lot. She was always this teen, who wanted normality and who always relied on her mother or her friends. In season 5, with the responsibility of her little sister she needed to grow up and relise that she had to do things on her own and Spike, being a tough-cookie (8D) got her through that stage, because he's tough and harsh compared to Angel who always seemed to be more understanding and was always there to comfort her. But sometimes thats not always there. (Although I do, and always will believe, that Buffy really did grow to love Spike towards the end of the show.) ...I have spoken. Fan-Girl rant over.

DR76 I have always found Buffy's relationship with Angel to be interesting. But I have never really liked it that much. If I had been much younger when I first saw "BUFFY", it would have appealed to me. I think. I'm not really sure. I guess there is something regressive and immature about their relationship. At least to me. Buffy's relationship with Spike was very chaotic, ambiguous and adult. And despite the ugliness between them, I feel that their relationship allowed each other to mature as individuals.

RomanceGirl44 I respect your opinion on Bangel and Spuffy, and your right, in real life we rarely end up with our first love, but you forget this a fantasy TV show and Joss could do whatever. As for the my opinion, I admit I'm a diehard Bangel fan, and will have hope for this pairing until Joss truly ends it in the comic books. As for Spuffy, this is the only other Buffy pairing that I like besides Bangel. They are very interesting together. And like you, I too believe Buffy loves Spike and he has been her only serious love after Angel, but she loves Angel more. That I'm certain of. I've always loved Bangel. They have that forbidden love thing and it makes me want them to have a happy ending. Their scenes after Season 3, were always so sad and I just wish they can get back together. I know both love the other more than anything and its really sweet. I believe it was neccessary for Angel to leave though. Both of them(including Angel) needed to grow more as people amd their seperate experiences did that. So I don't regret him leaving. I think, because of that, if they do get back together, their relationship would be better the second time around. So I still have hope. Nice thoughts. ^_^.
