I've been looking for a way to get more active on this spot and I figured this was the best way to do it, because xinx icon contests are highly popular. Let's get to the rules, shall we?

1) Choose an episode. Once an episode is chosen it cannot be chosen again for the same round. Neither can you choose the same episode in another round. Like, when you choose 'Spin City' for round 1, you can't choose it again for another round.
2) I will put up 5 themes and you make an icon with that theme. The other 5 are artist's choice.
3)Your icons have to be square and sized 100x100 or 200x200.
4)All icons have to be made by you, specifically for this contest. Don't use icons you've made in the past.
5)Don't vote for yourself.
6)You will get 10 days to submit your icons. There will be 10 days for voting. No more, no less.

A few basics on making icons!!

1) Find a good screencap website. This is a very good site for charmed screencaps
2) When you've collected all your screencaps, find a good editing program. This is a very good editing program
3) Cropping. Your screencap has to be SQUARED. No rectangle, no circle, no freaking pentagram. A SQUARE. Upload your image to the program. On your left there's a vertical bar with options. Right on top you have 'crop'. Click it. You will see a bar with 'No fixed proportians' and an arrow down next to it. Click the arrow and you'll see more options. Click the option 'square'. A square will be seen on the image. You can move the square to which part of the screencap you want to keep. Click 'Apply'. Your icon is now squared.
4) Resize. At the bottom of the vertical bar you'll see the option 'resize'. Make sure the box that says 'keep proportions' is checked. Move your cursor over the size that's in one of the boxes and insert a new size. Best size is 200x200, so insert 200 in one of the boxes and the same will happen automatically in the other box.
5) You have now a perfect icon.
