The economy in America is bad. That’s not hard to see. But do anda think it’s any coincidence that America fell into a recession as it started turning against Israel? This was something brought up sejak our Youth Leader on my first hari at Youth.
Genesis, chapter 12:3 says, “And I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee: and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed.”
This is what God berkata to Abram. That means as soon as America turns against Israel, things are going to get BAD.

God gave the land of Israel to the Jews. (Gen. 15:18) “In the same hari the LORD made a covenant with Abram, saying, Unto thy seed have I telah diberi this land, from the river of Egypt unto the great river, the river Euphrates:” And it’s STILL theirs to this day! (Gen.17:8) And I will give unto thee, and to thy seed after thee, the land of Canaan, for an everlasting possession; and I will be their God.”

Many have turned against the Jews saying that the land belongs to the Palestinians, but God Himself gave it to the Jews, thus it is still theirs.

(Lev.25:23) “The land shall not be sold for ever: for the land is mine; for ye are strangers and sojourners with me.”

The point of this is simple: Do not turn against Israel.
We need to bless Israel. Bless the Jews. And I believe in doing that, God will bless America.

Cinders This is a sensitive issue for me. So I'm just going to say this. Never... ever... tie a political issue to religion, or use religion to justify action in a political issue. It blinds you to what's really going on, and closes your mind to any alternative perspective. Because religion makes it personal to you. But it's not about you. It's about human beings. The Israel-Palestinian conflict is not one against the Righteous and the Infidels (regardless of who you assign which label). It is not a conflict of Good Guys versus Bad Guys. It's a conflict between human beings, with their own set of beliefs and values. Violence is never justified, except in cases of defense. The Israeli Government tries the best they can to defend their citizens against extremist Islamic terrorism, but in doing so they disenfranchise Palestinian civilians, and step on their human rights. The Palestinians defend, with sticks and stones, against tanks bulldozing their home, but because of their frustrations, some of them join terrorist factions and fight back in unforgivable ways. Each side oversteps its bounds. There is no simple answer. God bless the Jews. God bless the Israelis. God bless the Palestinians. God bless the Muslims. God forgive the Israeli government. God forgive the Islamic terrorists. Support the rights of all human beings. Do not support excessive violence from either side. It's not about religion, or who was promised the land, not anymore. Now, it's about cooperation, respect, and human rights.

Starring God is involved in this. And sorry, you can't be on both sides... God gave the land to the Jews and no human being has the right to take from someone what God gave them. I love all people! But that doesn't change the fact that God said he would bless those who bless them, and curse those who curse them. The Bible talks about the stuff that's going on today! We need to support Israel.

Cinders Except by only blindly looking at what religion says about the conflict, you are grossly oversimplifying the issue. What the Bible, Torah and Koran says are contradictory to each other. I don't mind religion influencing someone's political opinion. After all, it can be a really big part of someone's life, and how they see the world. What I have a problem with is supporting a certain side simply because they are the 'right' religion, whatever that is. Or NOT supporting a side because they are the 'wrong' religion. It dehumanizes the people involved. Also, there is right and wrong in this conflict. It's just not what you're claiming it is. To blindly support Israel is to support the actions of the Israeli government, which are often times deplorable and break human rights laws. If you look at the facts and not just religious texts, you'll see that Israel has been the target of sixty-five UN resolutions for unlawful attacks, human rights violations, and other unlawful trespasses. I do not support the Israeli government. They are genocidal mercenaries disguised as government officials, but the fear they incite in the population is just as wide-spread as the fear incited by Islamic terrorists. The wrong side, in this instance, is not a nationality or a religion, or even a race. The people in the wrong are the violent Arab terrorists, and the powerful Israeli governmental regime. The innocents are the Palestinian and Israeli people caught in the attacks by these forces. The war is between them. The citizens are collateral damage. The war is not just a dispute over land or territory. It is about racial tensions. It is about fear and hate and mistrust. It is about history and religion. It is about people, mistrusting people who are different. Why else, do you think, that the simplest solution - that they just live peacefully together in the same land - cannot come to pass? Educate yourself on the issue. I agree that the media and propagandists in the United States never tell the whole story, so go learn for yourself. I studied the conflict in Cairo. I've read Rachel Corrie. I've done impartial research on the matter. I suggest you do the same, before you go around making assumptions.
