aagh! I accidentally deleted this when I was trying to sunting it. here it is again with a new title:

Bella could have gotten over Edward in New Moon and even had a real relationship with Jacob in time, but she wouldn't let herself. She felt that moving on would diminish atau discredit her twu wuv with Edward and the pain she felt after he left. She wants to believe she can't get over it because she wants to believe that what they had was extraordinary, not like any other teenage romance. She wants to believe no one else in the world can relate to what she's going through. She was alone because she put her pain on this egotistical pedestal. Her's was grander, deeper, lebih irreparable than all else. Healing is for other people with lesser wounds from lesser loves.

Even if she can no longer have Edward, Bella wants to hang onto the Fantasi that she had the greatest Cinta of all time, something epic. And so she turns herself into a martyr, suffering indescribable, incurable pain forever after. That's the way I think Meyer sees it when she describes the way Bella cuts herself off from everyone as "beautiful." She and Bella see it as Bella generously saving everyone else from sharing her eternal pain sejak suffering alone. What she's really doing is preventing the possibility of healing in order to preserve her Fantasi of grandeur.

I think all people sometimes feel like this to some (much lesser) degree. We don't want to recover because then it makes us look foolish for having been so over-dramatic, Berlakon like it was the end of the world. We alih on though, not because our pain wasn't real, but because we are mature enough to realize that our emotions had exaggerated our outlook on life. It takes humility and personal growth and courage. Bella's refusal to do this is the epitome of immaturity.

What do anda think?
I found this online. It's a real conversation a bookstore employee apparently had with a Twilight fan. It didn't happen to me. I found it funny, thought anda guys might too.

(A customer in her late teens approaches me in the bookstore.)
Customer: “Hey, do anda guys sell the Twilight books?”
Me: “Yes, they’re right over there.”
Customer: “Have anda read them?”
Me: “Yes, I have.”
Customer: “Didn’t anda just Cinta them?!”
Me: “Well, actually, they aren’t really my type of book, so–”
Customer: *suddenly furious* “Are anda f***ing serious?! These are the best buku ever written! I’m going to tell Edward to come and bite anda and drink all your blood!”
Me: *backing away* “Have a nice day, ma’am…”
