Back, but not quite.

So a while back I wrote link artikel explaining why I had decided to leave Twilight behind me. A lot of the komen-komen swayed me, but I stuck to my decision. But then, I got ill. Again. Which meant a lot of time at home, being bored out of my head. Bearing in mind I hadn't read Twilight in months, it wasn't the first book on my mind to say the least.

But I decided to re-read it and see if my opinion on it had changed. For those who don't know, which will be the majority who read this, since March last tahun I've suffered from a viral infection, like glandular fever/mono and it's come back with...

People making claims about Twilight is really beginning to grate on my nerves D; Not statments of opinion; the kind of claims I'm talking about don't begin with "I think". They are claims, stated as fact.

An example of a statement of opinion might be "I think Twilight is awful". An example of a claim might be "Twilight is awful". Or, conversely "I think Twilight is perfect/Twilight is perfect".

The problem with these kinds of claims is that they are completely subjective. anda can't make an objective claim like "Twilight is awful/perfect" based on opinion, it doesn't make sense :(

So the amendment I propose is simple: begin statements of opinion with "I think", atau whatever variation on this is appropriate (if any). Is that fair enough? :) I know many of anda already do this, but just as a reminder to the few who don't.
