/:( i have read LOT better
Ugh this annoys me so much! REAL fans, of anything, don't just say 'oh it'z sooo amazeeeing!!'. They can actually say what's wrong with it. Just because someone doesn't like BD, that doesn't mean they're not a real Twilight fan!
God I don't like the girl. Only because I don't like one of the books I'm not a fan?! Because I just don't shout "OMG THAT'S PREFEEEEECT" because of every thing with Twilight logo on it?! She's pretty superficial if she as this opinion.
I'm angry now. And hate everyone who likes BD :D (I mean sure I don't, just metaphorically)
If S. Meyer was going to rope in a whole lot of new secondary characters (which she did), at least give them a full purpose! I hated the fact that she brought in more secondary characters and only ended the book with a 'chit-chat' between the 'Cullens & Gang' and the Volturi. It was very unclimatic.
Third, they didn’t like that Jacob imprinted on Bella & Edward’s daughter, Nessie. In my opinion that was one of the most beautiful things in the book. Is like Jacob couldn’t have Bella but at least he could have part of her. Beautiful!
Beautiful? *sighs*
And finally Twilighters didn’t like that the ending was too happy. Okay that is just ridiculous. The end of the book was perfect. Off course they live “Happily Ever After” they are immortals. They have each other for the rest of eternity. That was how it was suppose to end all along. Hello!!!
Wh- What? To me, the ending of Breaking Dawn was so flat. They are supposed to live happily ever after because they are immortals? Isn't that a little bias? :/
*applies monkey face*
My problem isn't that Bella got pregnant. Really, by the first book, I couldn't care less whatever happened to her. My problem is that it is logically IMPOSSIBLE for her to get pregnant with Edwards baby, as he doesn't have sperm.
• Second, fans didn’t like either that the personalities of the characters changed. Hello! Off course the characters changed. It’s been over 2 years for them in the books. They are all grown up. They have responsibilities and priorities. Bella & Edward are married now and the dynamic between them is completely different. Jacob finally accepted that he is the Alpha of the pack. For me that was very mature of all the characters.
There is a diffrence between growing up and getting more immature. And annoying.
• Third, they didn’t like that Jacob imprinted on Bella & Edward’s daughter, Nessie. In my opinion that was one of the most beautiful things in the book. Is like Jacob couldn’t have Bella but at least he could have part of her. Beautiful!
So...a teenage boy imprinting on a baby who is his "soulmate", and the daughter of the women he loved and the man he hated? Yeah, totally beautiful.
• Fourth, the fact that Bella saved the day and they didn’t have to fight with the Volturi was not very welcome in the Twilight community. People, what in the hell are thinking. A friend of mine was saying to me that maybe the author was making a point. Not everything in life has to be resolve with a war. Communication is the key to success. I’m very glad that there wasn’t a fight and nobody got hurt.
What about the fans themselves who were actually looking FORWARD to there being a supposed war? A huge letdown FOR THEM. Stephanie Meyer shouldn't have cause all the excitement and tension of there being a war when she just put a quick chit-chat to solve everything.
• And finally Twilighters didn’t like that the ending was too happy. Okay that is just ridiculous. The end of the book was perfect. Off course they live “Happily Ever After” they are immortals. They have each other for the rest of eternity. That was how it was suppose to end all along.
Yeah, and what did they do to earn it? Absoutley nothing.
I tried to explain how the anti-climactic ending, the happily ever after etc was all nice for people who are 10 but for people our age 13-18 and above need a bit more maturity in it, it make it more appealing. A fight, some deaths, some people not getting what they want, some people feeling real emotion, working for a reward.
I have a feeling it will fall on deaf ears though.
lawl, stunted emotional maturity? oh yeah.
also, "Is like Jacob couldn’t have Bella but at least he could have part of her."
Renesmee is her own person. Jacob staking his claim on her as SMeyer's way of letting him have "a part of" Bella is just wrong.
- Most GCSE papers are on well written and famous literature, and one of their favourite questions to ask is "Discuss the main themes of the novel." Thus porving a good book, and generally most books and stories have more than one theme or genre.
Twilight is not just a love story, so why shouldn't people be unhappy, why shouldn't there be a war?
MOULIN ROUGE! Moulin Rouge is about love "Freedom, beauty, truth and love, above all else love!". Yet Satine dies at the end, Christian is heartbroken, it takes him ages just to write her story let alone get over it. But is it about love anyless? no! Is it realistic? Yes! Is it mature and exiting? Yes! Why can't some of these twihards, and fans understand this.
