Supporting something anda don't believe in??

1) anda don't have to do what selebriti do. Whether that celebrity is an active member of PETA, the military, atau any political party, atau corporation, being a peminat of the celebrity is not being a peminat of the organization they support. Whether that celebrity is gay, a drug user, a pacifist, religious, a gambler atau a community volunteer, you're a peminat of the person, not the person's activities. anda can Cinta and support Friends who have different opinions than you.

2) If you're worried about supporting a selebriti bad habits monetarily by, say, buying their DVDs atau downloading their MP3s, let me just say right now - don't. Celebrities, as a general rule, are rich, unless they're famous for being trash, and even then, they were generally once rich. The forty percent commission they get from the sale of that one DVD anda buy is not going to tip the scales.

3) If you're worried about your child modeling bad celebrity behavior, have a talk with them about separating the talent from the celebrity. Point out better role models, like Jesus atau Gandhi atau Buddha.

4) While a very sound tool, the transitive property does not apply in the instance of celebrity and their causes. For example: I Cinta link. Jorja fox loves PETA. Ergo, I must Cinta PETA.

This logic is false. I do not like PETA. But those are her choices, and I still think she's awesome. However, that doesn't mean it can't be true. For example, same scenario. I Cinta Jorja Fox. Jorja fox loves LGBT rights. Ergo, I also Cinta LGBT rights - but not because Jorja does. Because of my own values, reasoning, and principals. anda follow?

The only time in which supporting a celebrity means supporting their causes and habits is in the political arena. Why do anda think people feel so betrayed when a senator is caught with a prostitute, but kinda expect it from somebody like Hugh Grant?

Keith Olberman, Rush Limbaugh, Bill O'Reilly, Michael Moore, Sean Hannity - these are selebriti where supporting them means supporting their beliefs and causes, because 95% of who anda know them as depends on what they say about these things.

John McCain, Hillary Clinton, Sarah Palin, Barack Obama, Richard Nixon, John F Kennedy - these are examples of people whom anda can admire, even if anda don't agree with their beliefs. 75% of your opinion is based on their beliefs and politics. The other 25%? On who they are and how they act.

Hmm...that's tough. I would have to say, that if anda supported someone because anda appreciate their talent but does drugs wouldn't nessacarilly mean that they support it, unless that celebrity becomes a role model to a teenager atau drugs is something that they feel strongly about and recommend it to others, atau something like that.

No, but I have to support things I don't believe in all the time anyway, because I'm a politican.

Whatever your kegemaran Celebrity does is not your fault and shouldn't be on your head at all,even if he/she does drugs,for instance,you are not going to marry him/her,you only listen to/watch him/her and if he's/she's good/good in your opinion,his/her morals are irrelavent.
