I wanted to make a pick about the effectiveness of Teach for America, but was not sure how to phrase it. I also had a bunch of questions relating to it.

For example:

Do you think that, in general, Teach for America is helping American students succeed?

Should TfA recruits be considered highly qualified teachers? Why or why not?

Are there any high-needs areas where TfA recruits may not be necessary?

And, a followup to that last question - Why is TfA expanding into school districts with no short supply of qualified candidates willing to work in high needs schools?
