I do love Aurora; she's not my favorite princess, but I do think she has personality. It's more subtle, but definitely there.
But, Esmeralda is one of my favorite heroines.

Aurora probably has a personality in there somewhere. But she's had basically no human contact her whole life besides the people who raised her, you don't hear a lot from her in the 1st half of the movie and the 2nd half she's dead most of the time lol.

And fireworks123, what did you mean by "if Aurora wins this, im gonna go nuts!!" - why SHOULD you go nuts? Its pretty sad if you go mad just because of someones opinion about a disney heroine! I mean.. fair enough if the question said "Which character has more personality?" and Aurora won, then yeah id be a little bit scared for the welfare of people on this website but i dont understand why people get so annoyed at someones opinion. If you're gonna get annoyed if a certain princess is favoured more than the other, then whats the point of making the pick in the first place?

Aurora is in the film for 18 minutes. She picks berries, cries, dances, pricks her finger and falls asleep. That's it. D:

I just like her personality and style more than I do Aurora's. But Aurora is not a bad character.

Definitely. However, I wouldn't criticize Aurora as "lacking a personality," or anyone else for preferring her. Not only does she have perfectly good reasons for being a little more subtle and understated and possibly seeming kind of "blah" or bland, but frankly, the only real way to not have a personality is to not exist...even the dullest, most humdrum person is...well, THAT'S their personality! You may not care for it, but there you have it. XD Ya know? Seriously not caring about anything is an attitude and personality unto itself. Anyway, I think Aurora is just fine, if not very strong or active in her own story/life. Esme, on the other hand, is just a phenomenal fireball of righteous awesomeness and always one of my very favorites. A better role model in many ways, but there's lots to like and admire about Aurora, too...she's just a LITTLE too far to the helplessly delicate and 'feminine' side to be one of my top faves.
