Disney Princess Article: My View on Cinderella

Thank you Deviant Art!!!

Now first of all, why don't we all give applause to Cinderella and Walt Disney (hey there my idol, and my man!) for creating the best childhood we've all ever had!!! (applause)

Now, let's document on "The Damsels In Distress" thing, first off- if anda REALLY think she's a damsel in distress, then your a disgrace to the the Disney Princesses. Why? Cinderella believed in herself...
BUT SHE DID IT SO- STOP SPREADING HOGWASH!!! SNOW WHITE, is the damsel in distress people!!! Aurora never intended to go to her prince, and Cinderella WENT TO THE BALL, KISSED THE PRINCE, BUT SHE WAS SCARED OF HER USELESS FAMILY, SO SHE HAD NO CHOICE BUT TO GO BACK!!! Now be quite!!! Listen to Walt Disney himself and if anda disagree then stop liking Disney Movies-

Anyways, we DID clear the damsel in distress problem RIGHT?!!!!! Good. :) Now...

The other reason why I Cinta Cinderella so much is probably because of how she did see good in everyone, but admitted that even the ones that didn't tunjuk good- had a bad personality. That means that she's not as naive as everyone thinks. Yeah that's it for that part.

Also Cinderella IS smart in a way. Lady Tremaine tripped the man, the man tripped, the glass slipper flew, the glass slipper broke, BUT!
"But, anda see, I have the slipper" Our little Cinderelly berkata with a grin :3 And she doesn't go off crying into her katil if you'd think that. I'm not saying she'd a blond, pretty Einstein- i'm just saying that unlike other princesses... i'm glad she showed her smarts.

Also her beauty. anda all may be thinking "What made Prince Charming think she's so beautiful?" C'mon!!! She has the most beautiful teeth, although I doubt her family allows brushing, her eyes? OH MA GOSH! They are like...like...like....beautiful!!! They have the perfect shade of blue ( I hate ariel's shade, but it looks good on HER) Also...I kinda like her hair. When it's down, it's all puffy and princess-like. I don't see the ugliness of Cinderella AT ALL, So basically Cinderella is gorgeous, not as gorgeous as Aurora, but GORGEOUS!

Lastly Cinderella has pretty good virtues. Sure lust is bad but hey!!!

that a guy thinking that your the most beautiful girl in the world, and would dance with anda forever, and a guy that dismisses EVERY other girl out there, is the total romance package, no?

Anyways! Back to virtues...
There's lebih to her than Cinta in life. All her life she missed her father- she's daddy's girl! I don't see Snow White caring, but that's not really necessary is it? Because in the story it doesn't really tell what happened to him.

Diligence, again, she WENT to the ball to get her prince. She didn't wait. She also waited her whole life to be free and I think it's kinda smart. The prince would've gave her a good life and offered her a lot, even though Aladdin didn't this is reversed.

And her kind, gentle heart. I would've probably smacked the women until they went blind but hey...Cinderella really has a nice hati, tengah-tengah unlike any of us! In fact...I always thought it was genetically impossible for somebody to live in her circumstances- and NOT atleast injure the women a little...

So to end this article...
Cinderella is a really nice Disney Princess, no wonder why Walt Disney loved her so much. To me Cinderella is the typical dream of every woman getting that time in your life when all your struggles and tough times didn't matter- because everything came beautifully into place.
Like a pretty picture. And the reason why the glass slipper is symbolic- is because it holds the shoe that started it all.

Jessikaroo I agree Cindy's not a damsel. :) And I don't think there's anything naive about seeing a little good in everyone, I do it all the time. I think it's wise (lol I sound conceited) in a way. It's like you respect the fact no one's all bad. Something made them that way. And I think she's beautiful too :) Good job

maryksand I so agree and relate to your love for Cinderella. As someone who feels a strong emotional connection to her character for many reasons, it always upsets me when people bash her for supposedly being weak or a demsel in distress when the truth is that Cinderella's strength is incredible and admirable considering what a hard life she had and how much pain and suffering and emotional pressure she had to put up with since childhood (the death of BOTH parents and having to practically be a servant to her stepmom and sisters that never showed a glimpse of love and warmth towards the girl who depended on them) and yet despite that she still had the dignity to remain a decent and caring person instead of turning into a bitter, evil and avenging individual. And imo this is much more valuable and deserves more credit than any career achievements of physical strength. She also is the princess who got her prince because she had the guts to go the the ball despite her stepfamily doing literally everything to ruin her dream about ever being able to go there. Like Walt Disney said: "When Prince Charming didn't come along she went to the palace and got him". This pretty much sums up everything.

I started doing Jasmine's test in my head and noticed she fit a lot of the traits (including ones I left out because I thought they applied to all princesses). So I decided to write it down.

Unique traits without contacts atau hair dye- No, she has black hair and brown eyes.
An odd name- No. 'Jasmine' is probably the most common name out of the DPs (and Anna, but the pronunciation is unique).
Looks constantly dikomen on- Yes. sejak Aladdin and the suitors, and like Esmeralda, she uses it as a weapon. 1.

Aurora Mary Sue Test

Welcome to the last of the classic Mary Sue tests. This one is going to be difficult, since Aurora has so little screentime and personality. But I'll try my best.

Unique traits without contacts atau hair dye- Yes. It's hard to gauge Aurora's exact eye color, but she seems to have violet eyes, which is definitely unique (and not even natural). Since it's not a natural trait in real people, it's getting a full point. 1.
An odd name- No. 'Aurora' is probably the most normal name of the classic princesses, and not that out there. Even Briar Rose isn't that unusual.

This is another Mary Sue test. I decided to do Elsa after Anna. I think she's accused of being a Mary Sue lebih (though neither of them are accused much).

Why are Belle and Ariel my kegemaran classic/ renaissance princesses

According to each of my articles, anda can conclude that I like the classics less than the modern ones. But still, that doesn't mean I HATE the classics, on the contrary, I do Cinta them. They just pale in comparison to the moderns. My kegemaran classic and renaissance princesses are Ariel and Belle. I like these two, but it is a pity that they are inferior to modern ones.

Why I Cinta Belle: Belle is my sixth kegemaran princess and I think she'll be the fifth to replace a modern. Moana doesn't seem as great to me anymore, so Moana is down to five, but she can swap places with Belle at any time. Belle...

Scar vs. Facilier

I telah diposkan a tinjauan two weeks ago, and the tinjauan was like this:

"Scar vs. Dr. Facilier who is a better villain?"

And the result was Scar. In fact, the two villains have a lot of similarities. So much so that anda may be surprised. However, I watched the two Filem back to back and now I see the incredible similarities between them.

SIMILARITY:

1- They both want to rule a place, Facilier is New Orleans and Scar is Pride Rocks.
