Author's Note: So, guys, this is a pratonton of a fanfiction I'm thinking I'll maybe do. It's Sleeping Beauty retold in Aurora's POV. What do anda guys think? Tell me in the comments.
Briar Rose hummed to herself quietly as she picked berries from a bush. She smiled to herself: her aunts thought they could deceive her, but it was obvious they were planning something special for her birthday.
"I wonder what they're doing this year," she thought to herself. "Last tahun Aunt Fauna sew for me this selendang, shawl I'm wearing, Aunt Flora made a bunga pot for me to put my Bunga in and Aunt Merryweather baked her special strawberi pie recipe. Maybe this tahun she'll do a blueberry pie."
A chirping caught her ear and she looked up to see her bird Friends perched in a tree's branch to her right. Smiling, she took off her selendang, shawl and shook her hair to untangle the curls.
"I wonder... I wonder..." Rose sang. She knew her Friends loved it when she sang. "I wonder why each little bird has a someone," she looked dreamily at a couple of birds.
"To sing to, sweet things to, a gay little Cinta melody," graciously, she accepted the berry the owl offered to her. He was always so eager to please.
She soon stopped working, Lost in her thoughts and her songs, in a world of her own. She crossed the woods to a very special place. Her aunts didn't know, but always when she went to the woods, she would stay hours in this spot, where she could stare at the castle.
"I wonder if my hati, tengah-tengah keeps singing, will my hati, tengah-tengah go winging," she sang as she reached the 'special spot'. There it stood, in a mountain and over the river, the majestic building.
Rose smiled fondly as memories rushed to her mind:
*Flashback*
Her petite frame perched in the tree's branch, the twelve years-old Briar Rose petted the soft bulu of her small tupai friend. Her hair was pushed back sejak a merah jambu headband, her body snuggly wrapped in a see-through blue selendang, shawl over a lavender nightgown. She was barefoot, like always: she liked the feel of her feet touching the fresh rumput and her aunts respected that. In fact, they seemed quite happy.
Her violet irises were in the istana, castle over the river, the white walls turned grey sejak the night. It was the fourth night she would tiptoe out of her room and sneak of the cottage to her special spot in the woods. She had been fascinated sejak it since her Aunt Fauna told her it was a istana, castle and the royal family lived there. Briar Rose had asked her while they were having a picnic. She pretended she didn't notice the looks her aunts shared afterwards.
"There he lives," she whispered softly in the middle of the night. The squirrel, which was almost falling asleep, lulled sejak her gentle hands, lifted his head.
Briar Rose looked at the small animal.
"Him, anda know," she said. "My dream prince."
The little animal seemed to be eager to hear lebih about this 'him'.
"Someday. he'll find me and..."
*End of the Flashback*
"And bring back a Cinta song to me," out of her mouth came the words her hati, tengah-tengah had been Singing for so long."
The Haiwan sighed happily, comforted sejak the sound of her melodious voice. Briar Rose smiled, resting her head over the handle of her basket. She didn't even remember her birthday anymore, all thoughts Lost in her dream prince.

Call me Anne. I wouldn't say my age because anda would be embarrassed but think older then Elsa. I loved the 90s princess (Ariel, Belle, Jasmine, and Mulan) since I identify with them a lot. When I was in elementary&High school I did get bullied but that's a long time lalu now. I Cinta some of the artikel-artikel I have read here on this site specifically the ones arguing about Cinderella not waiting around for a Prince to save her. Did anda know that it took from the 1800s to the 1912 before Snow White's and Cinderella's respective stories overlapped? And in the 1913 some guy who had the last name Powers who would later help Disney with Steamboat Willie made his own film version of Snow White and borrowed the True Cinta Ciuman from either Grimms' Briar Rose atau Perrault's Beauty in the Woods.
