Dr. Facilier crept around the streets he once called home. New Orleans was a much happier place since he had left, and it made him sick. He thought it might have been a good idea to find out where the girl Hades wanted was. With the picture of the beautiful girl in his back pocket and smoothly walked over to a pedestrian.

"Why hello," he berkata with his raspy voice.

The woman swung around and hit him in the face. "Back up!" She yelled, "Stranger danger!"

"Um, ow!" Dr. Facilier called out. "I am not trying to hurt you!"

The girl backed up, looking at him with curious eyes. "You're not?"

"No, I was wondering if," he talked as he pulled the picture out of his back pocket, "Have anda seen...?" His voice trailed off. He looked at the picture and back at the girl. This is the girl.

The girl was becoming impatient, "Listen, I have places to be, people to see, so do anda mind?"

She began to turn around, but Dr. Facilier grabbed her hand. "I just wanted to tell you... anda are gorgeous."

She began to blush. "What's your name?" she asked.

"Call me, Dr. Facilier!"

"I'm Kida... Wait!" she shouted. Her voice became softer, "You are the Shadow Man? He--You're supposed to be dead!"

Dr. Facilier adjusted his kot leisurely, "Surprise!"

The door burst open and a rush of warm summer air flew through the building. "Here anda are, little lady," Gaston berkata to Jane.

"Thank you, Gaston. I would have never made it here sejak myself!" She thanked him. In addition to the thank you, she gave Gaston a Ciuman on the cheek.

They soon turned their heads quickly to the sound of breaking plates. Naveen was staring at them. "Uh..."

All of them, Gaston, Naveen, and Jane were blushing sejak now. No one knew what to say, until Tiana walked in. She scooted past Naveen and hit him with a hand towel. "Why didn't anda tell me we had guests, Naveen? C'mon in!" She called.

Gaston and Jane both awkwardly walked toward Tiana. "Hey, Tiana," was all Jane could say. She tried to avoid the awkwardness sejak fiddling with her hair.

Tiana felt the tension, but ignored it. "I'm so glad anda came!" she berkata as she hugged Jane. "And it is nice to see you, Gaston!"

He nodded his head. "Well, I ought to be going. Wouldn't want to be a pest!"

Naveen laughed and said, "That is all anda are, Gaston!"

"Funny as always, Naveen," Gaston berkata as he hit Naveen quite hard in the shoulder.

"Ugh.. Goodbye, Gaston!" Naveen urged him to leave.
Gaston turned around and whispered in Jane's ears, "I will see anda soon."

"Hey, Kida!" a dorky looking guy called out to her.
She sighed. but waved and said, "Hello, Milo."

"I was, uh, wondering if, well, anda know..." Milo sputtered.

"Milo, spit it out!" Kida demanded.

"The annual Tiana's Palace anniversary dance is coming up, and I was wondering if anda would like to go with me?" Milo pushed his glasses up as he spoke.

Kida hesitated, but said, "I, uh can't! Because..." she grabbed Dr. Facilier's hand, "I'm going with him."

Milo's jaw dropped, "Him? But we always go together!"

She used her free hand to alih Milo's hair out of his face. "Milo, uh, sweetie, we went when we were juniors in high school, a good two years ago."

"B-but, I thought anda liked me!" Milo exclaimed.

"You know who might want to go with you," Kida told him. "I think charlotte is free!"

Milo sighed, "I guess," and he walked away.

"So Miss Tiana got herself an annual anniversary dance," Dr. Facilier said.

"You seem surprised. That girl gets anything she wants," Kida remarked.

"Whaddaya mean sejak that?" Dr. Facilier asked.

"People always say, 'That Tiana, she works so hard!' Not me though." Kida took a pause. "She can get anything from the drop of a hat because she has that Naveen sejak her side."

"Too bad he is loyal, huh?" Facilier told her.
Kida laughed obnoxiously. "Naveen? Loyal? He may say it to Tiana, but I know a few girls, and possibly a few guys who would beg to differ."

That ended that conversation and they walked down the street, still hand in hand.
