Lately I've been thinking a lot about how the princesses make their decisions, using their hati, tengah-tengah atau their head (don't ask why I've been thinking about this so much..) and I really wanted to make an artikel about it! I decided to perpecahan, berpecah it up into three parts, the Classics, Renaissance, and Modern. So if the princess makes decisions using her heart, she's lebih rash and emotional, and if she makes decisions using her head, she thinks things through lebih and is lebih patient. So, without further ado, let's start! :)

Snow White-Head

This was a pretty tough choice, because I do think she shows characteristics of both. I berkata that she uses her head lebih because, one, when the prince of her dreams comes she runs away from him, even though anda could tell from the balcony that she really did Cinta him (and I really think her running away was lebih of being bashful for being seen in her rags than her thinking about stranger danger, but alas). Also, despite going through the trauma of almost being killed, she still thinks logically about finding shelter and whatnot instead of letting her emotions take her over. anda can also tell Snow White is extremely patient, a word I think goes hand and hand with using your head, through her song "Someday My Prince Will Come". The situation that most shows that she also uses her hati, tengah-tengah in her decision making is the situation with the Old Hag. Even though she probably knew better, she lets her in anyway out of the kindness of her heart. Overall, I think Snow's a great balance of both, but how she deals with situations makes me slightly think that her head wins. :)



Cinderella-Head

This choice was a lot easier than Snow's. Not because I find Cinderella to be smarter than Snow, the opposite in fact, just the fact that Cinderella is one of the most patient people in the animated world. Her emotions probably told her multiple times to just give up atau run away, but she always kept a level head and did as she was told in the end. She doesn't let her emotions be shown and probably thought about leaving, but realized that it'd be best to just stick it out and deal with the situation. The fact that Cinderella can put up the facade that she does while her stepmother yells at her for something she didn't even do just shows how she's not rash whatsoever. Cinderella does use her hati, tengah-tengah to make decisions as well though. Making the clothes for the mice and freeing them from the traps could've got her caught, but she listens to her hati, tengah-tengah anyway and does what she knows is the right thing to do.



Aurora-Heart

I'd say that all and all Aurora uses her hati, tengah-tengah in making her decisions. As opposed to Snow White, Aurora dances with the mysterious prince of her dreams, even though she knows she's not supposed to speak to strangers. *but he's not a stranger, they've met before!* Also, when discovering the news that she's becoming a princess, she doesn't really think what that will really mean and just cries and listens to her hati, tengah-tengah instead of her head. Aurora's a bit overemotional in my opinion, which shows how she can often jump to conclusions and shows that she uses her hati, tengah-tengah to make decisions lebih so than her head. Aurora does use her head to make the decision to get away from Phillip after their dance and meet in the cottage where she has her aunts though, but sadly it's too little, too late for me to change my decision. Aurora's hati, tengah-tengah is definitely the main force that guides her decisions.



So, erm, that's it! I know it was kinda..bleh..I wasn't even thinking about posting it, but I already wrote the whole thing, so I thought why not.
