This is the tenth artikel in my "Why I Love.." series and it's for Rapunzel! Rapunzel is a great princess and I hope I can do her the justice she deserves. I hope anda enjoy Membaca this!!

Rapunzel isn't one of my Kegemaran really, in fact she's in my bottom three, but that doesn't mean I still don't really Cinta her a lot. If you've been here for a while, you'll know that Rapunzel was actually my kegemaran princess for a few months, and before that she was always either saat atau third on my list, but sadly all she's done is drop overtime. Despite her dropping, one of my kegemaran attributes of Rapunzel still has to be her insecurity. I Cinta seeing vulnerability in characters, and insecurity has always been an interesting characteristic of a princess to me. One prime example of this is when Rapunzel is scared to give Eugene the crown because she thinks that he'll run away from her and he only really wants her for the crown. Gothel has almost brainwashed her into believing whatever she says and I find that to be really interesting and I wish the movie expanded on it more. She tries so hard to get others to like her and is always trying to impress others it seems.

Another thing I Cinta about Rapunzel is her intelligence. I think that Rapunzel's intelligence is extremely underrated and doesn't get the credit that it deserves. Not only does Rapunzel learn how to chart the stars, red, make candles, and lebih without anyone else's teaching, she also displays her intelligence and quick thinking in her actions. A good example of her quick thinking is when she's trying to tell Gothel about Eugene being in the wardrobe, but realizes that doing that will only make Gothel angrier, so she changes her plan to asking for paint instead and ends up calling the lights "stars" even though she doesn't believe that. It's a small detail, but it's always made an impact on me for some reason. Rapunzel also knows how to use her strengths to her advantage, namely her kindness and lovableness.

Rapunzel's strength is also another thing that I Cinta about her. She's such a strong princess, both emotionally and physically, and should get lebih credit for that. The fact that she can survive Gothel's everyday insults and putting her down (the mirror, namely), but still keep her optimistic temperament is a wonder in and of itself. Even after finding out that Eugene has (seemingly) left her, she doesn't break down and cry, but she keeps it together, which shows so much strength to me. These examples make me believe that Rapunzel might suppress some of her emotions, just like Snow White, which I find extremely interesting. Rapunzel's strength is also of course shown in her standing up to Gothel in the end, which leads to my seterusnya point.

The character development that Rapunzel goes through in the movie is absolutely phenomenal. The somewhat ditsy, perky, insecure little girl that we saw at the beginning of the film who seemed all fun and games transforms into a strong, independent, comfortable woman. Despite her character development into a stronger, lebih active character, she still keeps her sweet, caring personality that we've grown to love. The scene where Rapunzel finally confronts Gothel and says my kegemaran line in the film, "Did I stutter mother? atau should I even call anda that?" I can't help but get this triumphant feeling that Rapunzel has finally conquered her fears and truly transformed.

Besides all of this, I of course Cinta Rapunzel's neverending sweetness, kindness and optimism, all three traits I admire a lot. She's extremely kind to everyone she meets and although she's lived a sheltered lifestyle, doesn't seem to judge anyone based on appearances (the thugs). I Cinta how she was willingly going to give up her freedom for Eugene, which I believed she would've honored, at least for a while, is extremely selfless and brave. Rapunzel's bravery is another aspect I Cinta about her, both emotional bravery that she shows with facing Gothel and the lebih conventional ways such as trying to save Eugene.

All and all, Rapunzel is amazing. Penulisan this artikel has actually made me realize how much I actually do Cinta her, and I think she might even alih up a spot atau two! I've definitely got some problems with her character, but I still nonetheless enjoy her and think she's a very interesting princess in her own right. I hope anda enjoyed Membaca this and have a great day! :)

It's typical of sequels to come out about 2 atau 3 years after the first film. Sometimes, sequels come out the tahun after the first one. However, Frozen 2 has come out 6 years after the first film. That's something it has in common with Alice Through the Looking Glass, which came out 6 years after the first film. Of course, the big the soalan is if the wait was worth it. In this review, I will discuss how the two films compare to each other, as well as give my feelings on the premise and cast of characters.

Frozen 2 brings back the cast of the first film (excluding Prince Hans and the Duke...

Thank anda to everyone who participated in Princess of the Month! For November we celebrated Belle, so here's an artikel on why we adore her:

Belle is my kegemaran princess, so I could wax eloquent concerning all the things I adore about her. In the interest of space, though, here is one thing I particularly Cinta about her: her sense of self-worth. I don't feel like this is often talked about, but it's really inspiring to see her embrace her interests even in the face of constant ostracization from the townspeople. Everyone thinks she's weird and whispers behind her back, but despite this she...

Hi everyone, I got my laptop back and I had just watched Frozen II with Prasert. According to him, he berkata that it's even better than the first one, but he was disappointed that there were no bad guys in it! Anyway, here is my review on the film. Enjoy!

The Story

Okay, so we get to see lebih of Elsa's and Anna's parents and the origins of Elsa's ice power. In fact, when King Agnarr was young during the flashback. Prasert pointed out that he looks like Hiccup from How to Train Your Dragon! I could not believe it.
The story is lebih dark in a contrast to the first one, because we get the Maleficent...

 Anastasia and Dmitri
Anastasia and Dmitri
Hi guys, it's been ages since I had written my last artikel that I decided to write another comparison article. This time it is both Anastasia and Cinderella, ready?

Anastasia

So, we all know about what happened to Anastasia. Upon watching this for the first time in many years, it was like Anastasia became Cinderella because she was like the Lost princess that her beloved grandma is looking for, hence the ballet sejak Sergei Prokofiev was shown during the scene when they were in Paris, France.
The Muzik box plays a role in the movie, it is very similar with the glass slipper in Cinderella. Both...

Wow, ok. It's been five years (oh lordy) since I last wrote one of these, and with a new princess officially in the lineup I think it's high time I revisited my list. Let's do this.

12. Rapunzel

Uuuuuuuuuuuuugh Rapunzellllllllllllllllllll I really wish I liked her lebih than I do. The funny thing is that I actually think she's a great character and she's also one of my most relatable DPs, but despite this she just doesn't do it for me. There are two primary reasons for this. Firstly, she is not a particularly believable character for me. Seriously, no one would be that socially well-rounded after...

Just a heads up there's going to be a lot of sad personal stuff brought up so if anda don't want to read this that's totally understandable.

Today's rewatch: Moana
Last time watched: July 6, 2017

How much did I like this movie when it came out?

I had some reservations about this movie because I didn't know for sure if it was going to be good especially since I hadn't seen too much stuff about it. But after hearing How Far I'll Go I knew I wanted to watch this movie even if it was just to hear that song on the big screen. My husband and I saw it for my birthday and even though the villain twist...

I copy and pasted the information from the Disney Wikipedia.

Snow White

Snow White is well known for her kindness and optimism — both of which act as her greatest strengths, as they've guided her safely through the various hardships faced throughout her life. She is quick to charm, winning the trust and admiration of the Prince, forest animals, and the Seven Dwarfs rather quickly, proving her kindness and pleasant aura makes her a beloved figure. Coined as the "Fairest One of All", Snow White's beauty lies both within her physical appearance and pure heart. With no negativity within her, Snow...

This one is over a bulan late but I have reasons! 1. I kept forgetting 2. I had some personal stuff going on and I had personal reasons to not want to watch this movie for a while after watching the first one. But this movie and Ariel's Beginning are way overdue at the perpustakaan so it's now atau never and get even lebih fines.

Today's rewatch: The Little Mermaid 2: Return to the Sea
Last time watched: 2015

How much did I like this movie as a kid?
Since I loved The Little Mermaid when I was little, of course I was really excited to watch Return to the Sea and when I finally did watch it I might not have...

Something I've often berkata in the past is one of the scariest type of villain is one that could exist in real life like Frollo, Bellweather, Lady Tremaine, and Mother Gothel. Gaston is definitely a villain that deserves to be on this list.

Some people will say he's too silly to be a scary villain atau just isn't scary enough until the climax of the movie. But some people who have had to deal with their own Gastons in life will say differently.

First off, it's made pretty clear from the beginning that Gaston is a bully who has most likely never been told "no" and therefore can never take it for...

Of course, we all have our faves and we feel a certain way when our kegemaran princesses are getting criticized. For me, I do feel like Tiana gets quite a bit of flack, some deserved but some is quite overboard. For example, people call Tiana mean and even ruthless for simply doing what ray tells her sejak leaving him to fight off the shadows sejak himself but if she went against his orders, anda know that would be yet another opportunity for people to call her condescending. So I'm just gonna counter some complaints against Tiana.

Human Tiana is lebih likable than frog Tiana.
Not really gonna disagree...

Out of the entire princess lineup, only three of them were the biggest part of my childhood. Cinderella was sorta part of my childhood but mainly the Brandi Norwood version because I preferred that one over the animated version. And I’m not counting Rapunzel because her movie came out when I was almost an adult.

3. Mulan

A lot of anda might know that Mulan is my kegemaran princess and she’s been number 1 on my senarai for years. I was 5 years old when I watched her movie on tape and I remember being so in Cinta with her and the movie immediately. Mulan was one of the biggest feminist ikon-ikon in my...

This is a movie I've been looking ke hadapan to rewatching for a while :) I Cinta the Disney Princess Filem (except maybe Brave, still need to watch that again) but The Little Mermaid brings back so much nostalgia for me. This movie isn't number 1 on my kegemaran DP movie senarai but it's still one of my all-time kegemaran movies.

Today's rewatch: The Little Mermaid

I watched this movie as an adult but I still like to think I'm a kid at heart. This is a movie I'm really not looking ke hadapan to watching. I don't mind watching sequels because I used to Cinta them so much when I was a kid but Mulan is one of my all-time kegemaran Filem ever and this sequel is like on a Maleficent level of ruining original characters.

Tonight's rewatch: Mulan 2
Last time watched: 2005-2006

How much did I like this movie as a kid?
I saw the commercial for this movie when I was 11 and I was excited because, again, Mulan is one of my all-time kegemaran movies. I didn't actually watch the movie until I was 13 atau 14 because I was starting middle school when this...

Tonight's rewatch: Mulan
Last time watched: 2015

How much did I like this movie as a kid?
I loved this movie when I was a kid! Mulan, both the movie and the character, was actually one of the reasons I became a feminist and why I Cinta badass women (kinda why I don't 100% blame the revival era for people hating princesses who find Cinta atau aren't "kickass"). I used to sing the songs all the time when I was a kid and I loved any merch I could get (which wasn't a lot). I still have my stuffed Cri-Kee that...

How much did I like this movie as a kid?
Like Frozen, these shorts came out in my 20s so I wasn't a kid but like I berkata before, I'm a kid at heart! I was hesitant to watch both shorts because I kept hearing a lot of Frozen haters call these shorts cash cows and berkata the holiday special was boring. I hardly heard anything positive about both shorts. I watched Frozen Fever about a week atau two after it premiered and I loved it and I finally watched Olaf's Frozen Adventure around Krismas time last tahun and, again, loved it!

This review was originally telah diposkan months lalu but I deleted it because......I was gonna use it for a school assignment and I didn't wanna leave this up so my lecturer could cari and accuse me of plagiarism. lmao

Anyway, I ended up not using it and I decided to put it back up.

So right off the bat, I have to say that this movie is very.....average. It honestly feels like a tv episode padded out with songs to make it feature length. Moana is a likable enough character, I can almost pinpoint exact moments where she's like sebelumnya Disney female protagonists like Ariel, Pocahontas, Mulan and Rapunzel...
