Mulan, Pocahontas, and Merida have been best Friends since the hari they met. They loved everything about each other. Their worlds, their homelands, their cultures, their personalities, every single thing in the book. These 3 girls were crazy about each other. Whenever they didn't get together, they'd write to each other just to see how they were doing. There was only one thing wrong. Shang HATED Merida.

Merida and Mulan didn't know why he hated her. Only Shang himself knew why he hated her-it was because of her rebellious actions. He didn't let Mulan know that, though. That was the last thing he needed to let her know. The other thing he didn't want to see was Mulan upset. He also hated seeing her upset. Now, it was a whole different story with John Smith.

John Smith was alittle lebih fond of Merida. ALOT lebih fond of her, actually. He understood Merida's rebellious actions and adventurous ways. In fact, Pocahontas always thought of her as a female version of him. This made him tickled. "It'll take some time for him to warm up to you." John berkata many of times about Shang to Merida. Merida listened, but honestly, that never changed anything. Even after Shang and Mulan's baby boy, Ping, was born.

Mulan was up feeding Ping one night when Shang entered the room. "I thought I'd find anda two in here." he berkata lovingly. He kissed Mulan on the head. "So, what do anda think about Pocahontas and Merida coming over to see Ping?" Mulan asked. Shang hid his anger. "I don't want that girl anywhere near our son." he tried to say in a calm voice. Mulan got furious. "Shang, she's my best friend!" she exclaimed. "That WITCH is nothing but worthless! She turned her own mother into a dangerous animal out of hatred!" Shang argued. "They were having a rough time!" Mulan argued back.

"I don't care if they were having a rough time atau not, she's a worthless idiot!" Shang proclaimed. "Shang, she is anything but a witch, an idiot, atau worthless." Mulan berkata with her voice cracking. "Why did anda have to meet her in the first place?" Shang asked under his breath as he walked out of the room. Mulan had a tear roll down her face, but wiped it away as fast as she could. She held Ping closer to her than she ever had. "What am I going to do?" she asked as she looked down at a sleeping Ping. She took some time to block everything Shang berkata before taking Ping back to his room. "Hopefully Pocahontas told her the news..." she berkata wondering about Merida as she went into the dapur to cook breakfast.
