Soundtrack really can make or break a movie for me. My top movies are BatB, Sleeping Beauty, PatF, Tangled, and Brave - so yeah I definitely put a lot of weight on soundtrack.

My top 3 are:
Snow White and The Seven Dwarfs
Sleeping Beauty
Beauty and The Beast

All three have great soundtracks

Aladdin
Beauty and the Beast
Brave
Sleeping Beauty

All of them have great characters.

My top 7 DP movies have my top 7 DP in them XD

I really don't know how I pick out my favorite, my top 5 each have one of the 5 things you listed in them.

1: Tangled (inspiring soundtracks)
2: The Princess and the Frog (beautiful settings)
3: Snow White and the 7 dwarfs (strong plotlines IMO)
4: Cinderella (interesting characters)
5: Brave (high quality or unique animation)

I'm much more drawn to movies with strong characters than necessarily strong plots- maybe that's why I absolutely love Princess and the Frog, whereas Tangled is relatively low on my list.
That's one thing I'm really looking forward too from Frozen, the characters look enthralling!
