I especially like listening to them in their "native languages". Tangled in German, Frozen in Norwegian...It just feels right. :)

I listen to most of them in French, as it is my language.

^^Exactly! I've heard most in French, and in their native languages, and sometimes random languages. I still often prefer English, but I've found some beautiful versions of the songs.

I especially like the songs from Sleeping Beauty in French (except for Phillip's voice actor, but Aurora's makes up for it). :)

I love listening to them in my native language (Greek) and in French, but sometimes I try other languages as well.

Sometimes, I also love if there's translation so I know what they really say in other versions.

English 98% of the time. Since English is the only language I 100% understand and I like knowing the words, I tend to only listen to the songs in, well, English.

I listen to them mostly in Greek and when I don't like the dub, I prefer original english, but I also listen to them in other languages sometimes.

I used to be an interpreter, so I really appreciate the art (and it is an art) of translation. Different languages have different syntax, structure, figures of speach, etc. So it's impossible to directly translate English to whatever language and keep the words and lip flaps synced. It's a delicate balancing act of picking words and sentences that match the characters' lip movements, while still picking phrases that stay true to the spirit of the songs' meaning.

It's also interesting learning the different culture's values based on what lyrics they choose. For example, the French really are very romantic. Disney love songs turn sickeningly sweet in French translations, with much more purply prose and poetic, romantic imagery. The same love song in some other languages, like German, focus less on the romantic emotions they feel and more on what else is going on in the song.
