I love the forest and I think this little cottage is cute and well hidden. That and I can't morally (for myself not others) choose to live in a castle.

Unless I can decorate the witch's cottage myself to suit my ideals and get rid of all those carvings and weapons, I would live in, as KataraLover said, the lap of luxury.
