The village is the saddest of these to me. I am very patriotic, antimilitaristic and traumatophobiac. And I also very afraid of early loss of my elder. And some of my friends even faced the war. It makes me really hate Shan Yu. When I watched 1 season of Game of Thrones, I highly related to the witch that caused Drogo's death( no, she is not a good person but neither is me).
I find everything related to homeland and war very poweful.
Also unlike the rest of scenes, in the village scene heroes faced with irrecoverrable tragedy and not with what they mistaked for it. A bunch of people is dead forever.
