I've never heard of them. I'd like to read them though.

Never heard of them, but I tend to like fairytale retelling books, like Gail Carson Levine's Ella Enchanted (it's not like the movie!) and Fairest. Are they like that?

I have only read one (the Anastasia one) which was pretty good but I want to read some of the classic Disney stories too. I was wondering if anyone had some in particular that they really liked.

@firegirl1515, Oh, I agree about Ella Enchanted. The book is very different from the movie, and better too.

^^That movie is HORRIBLE. The only thing they got right was the names. They twisted and mangled the original plot so badly that I don't even recognize it anymore. It hurt my eyes to watch it. As a writer, I feel bad for Gail Carson Levine. I guess she didn't know what she was signing up for.

I love reading and fairytales, so if I see some then I might read them. The best fairytale book I own is Roald Dahl's Revolting Rhymes which is a bunch of fairytales retold in humourous poems. I love the Snow White one. The dwarves are all ex-jockeys that keep losing on the races so she steals the magic mirror and they ask it who will win so they always win their bets. :L

I came across these once on the internet, but I havn't read one. Would you recomend it?
