All she wants is to be normal but everyone laughs at her. To top it off, this happens at her own birthday party. Poor Melody. :(

The Melody one pisses me off if i was Ariel or Eric i would just punish everyone by raising the taxes.

Definitely this, I hate Melody.

In Melody's case, it's partly her own fault. Why is she talking to Sebastian first and ignoring her dance partner.

In Cinderella's case, well, it's partly the mice's fault because they "steal" the stepsisters' things to design Cinderella's gown.

For Cinderella is was like losing her one and only chance to fulfill her dream and to attend the ball for the first time in her life so it must have seemed almost tragic and completely hopeless to her.

Melody's situation was sad and it's horrible when a kid has to endure something like that, with everyone laughing at her, but it is something that is easier to handle than your dream crushing into pieces.

I cry every time I see it :(

I never cried at the Melody one, everyone gets embarrassed sometimes. But Cinderella's dream was crushed when her sisters tore apart her dress, as if her life wasn't miserable enough already.

Cinderella's was by far the more tragic.

^^True but we all know that later on she gets the blue dress, the pink dress is almost never mentioned
