Well it didn't change my opinion of her. I mean I always knew that she was ruthless. In her mind she did what was necessary to protect her Dollhouse and her dolls. It was short sighted of her obviously and self serving. But having seen Epitaph One I knew that that was the path she was on and that she would come to regret her decision. I had thought that she and Topher would have made the decision together; it was interesting that Topher wasn't going to reveal the plans. That's not something I was expecting.

After Epitaph one I was aware she'd do something like this. I was also aware it would probably be worse than just watching as Rossum gained power, otherwise the disdain Echo seemed to have for her in Epitaph one wouldn't make sense (After seeing Adelle side against Rossum in E1 and apparently help all the dolls in her house after, it wouldn't make sense for Echo to consider shooting her for simply being an employee unless she'd done something of this level first). I think the reason it seemed jarring despite us knowing something like this was coming is that I'd been expecting more of a build up, which I understand there now isn't time for. The three month time shift made her actions seem more shocking because we didn't see the build up that led to them.
It didn't put me off her, partly because I know what's to come for her and partly because I love characters I find interesting, good or bad. Doing this makes her seem even more complex so it makes her a better character to watch for me :)

I was more surprised with Topher than Adelle. Not more annoyed since he didn't intend it to go that way and was angry with Adelle for breaking his trust, but exasperated. He didn't need to invent that tech to understand it, he just couldn't help himself. Mr brainy pants had to invent the world ending machine, not because he needed to but because he could. Surely he should have known that couldn't end well, even if he couldn't predict what Adelle would do. Even as he grows as a character he's still such a little boy in some ways.

Even though I saw Epitaph One, I think Adelle could change and do something good!

I have mix feelings with Adelle. On one hand, I understand why she did it, but another part of me, really wanted her to figure out a different way..I mean there had to be another way for her to continue being the boss instead of giving up free will of everyone in the world. I hated her for a long long time, she's definately not my favorite character of the show, because to be honest, I'm still a little sore with her. plus, the whole Roger thing? I forgave her when she slept with Roger the first time. [after a while]..but then she did it again..or rather tried and Idk. and currently everything thats happened in the past couple of episodes makes me hate that she did a good thing, because that would mean I can't fully hate her. Lmao, if that makes sense.

there are a couple of things she shouldn't do to be on my good graces.

1) she shouldn't mess with Topher. I EFFIN' HATE IT WHEN SHE DOES, because my poor BB, looks like he's gonna cry and I hate it when he looks like that. so when she talked to him about Claire. I was FURIOUS.

2) Don't mess with Boyd. he's one of the few characters on this show, that's actually good. so, her talking about Echo to Boyd just..Grr.

and finally..the most important thing to me...

3) STAY AWAY FROM VICTOR. -.- He's my favorite, and I swear if she messing up with my VS, I'll never forgive her. it's bad enough she put their butts in the attic for being in love, but if she screws with them again. it's. over.

yeah, so if she keeps these things in her mind, while being the boss, I think we can work something out.
