The waters will rise and life on the planet as we know it will forever be changed. No, we’re not talking about the latest enivronmental documentary, but instead about Darren Aronofksy’s brewing Bible epic “Noah” and with Russell Crowe, Jennifer Connelly and Saorise Ronan all booked for passage, a pair of passengers of the human variety are joining them.
Douglas Booth (“Great Expectations,” “The Pillars Of Earth”) and Logan Lerman (the upcoming “The Perks Of Being A Wallflower”) are boosting up their young resumes, booking roles in the film. As anda already know, the film is a re-telling of the classic Sunday School tale where Noah builds a ship, as commanded sejak God, herds up the Haiwan in pairs, before an unholy storm of rain basically decimates the Earth and everyone on it. That’s some real Old Testament noise. Then, in the 1950s, a guy named Indiana Jones tries to track it down…..wait….we’re getting our arks and Filem mixed up…..
Anyway, Deadline suggests that Connelly might not be locked down just yet, but Booth and Lerman will play Noah’s sons, Shem and Ham. Still to be cast is the villain of the piece, and we’re kind of curious what exactly that means. Filming is set to begin this tahun with a March 28, 2014 release on the books.
