I soon heard the laughter and clanging of bir bottles coming from my destination. The Muzik was blaring loudly inside, I hopped in and saw bodies alih rapidly to the beat the of music.
I smirked, there was no way anyone here could bea-"Hey! Courtney! Over here!" I turned around and saw Chris. He was wearing a white hoodie with regular worn out jeans.
I hesitated I knew he was going to send me back utama to that she-devil.... But, I reluctantly walked over to Chris and waited to here "Go back,home Court..." But... Suprisingly there was a silence.
"What are anda doing here Chris? You're supposed to be up in L.A doing your little concert..." I seethed. He rolled his eyes and raised his bir bottle and took a sip. "Im looking out for anda Courtney.... anda shouldn't be here..." I growled.
"You don't no anything, I AM supposed to be here... Dancing is my life.. And anda won't be sending me back to Claires..." I snapped, Venom filling every gap in my mouth.
He raised his hands up in defense. "Okay, How about this... We have a dance battle... If I win anda have to get your little epal, apple bottom jeaned butt back to Claire, and if anda win..." He sighed."You can stay..."
I smiled and nodded, This was going to be easy...

Chris ran up to the DJ and mumbled him something. The DJ's eyes lit up and he laughed, but nodded and spoke into the Microphone."Alright,Alright everyone! We have Chris Mclain here! Yes the Chris! DJ Chris in the house!" His voice boomed with disbelief that 'DJ Chris' was actually here in New York. Chris soon came into view and stood in the middle of the dance floor, he raised his arms up.
The Muzik soon started to blare even harder than before!
Two women in skanky tops and shorts came up and removed two floor pieces menunjukkan two small trampolines.
Chris smirked and started to dance, he was moving like no ther guy I've ever seen. He jumped up onto the stage and flipped over the DJ turntables which caused an uproar of clapping and yelling.
Chris motioned over to me and I walked up, everyone soon stared at me. "Bring it..." I sneered. Chris rolled his eyes and began to break dance. I followed but with lebih movement, I shook my hips and jumped onto one of the trampolines and flipped right into the air.
Everyone cheered.
"Okay, okay that was good Courtney..." The DJ said,slightly chuckling into the microphone. I growled and jumped onto the stage and looked over the crowd. "This is your chance.." I mumbled to myself...
Everyone was quiet, Chris was watching intently. The track changed to Shakira's hit song Gypsy. I swayed my hips slightly to the left, then right, and continued the process.
When the song was over everyone was cheering. "Courtney Summers is big boss! But, I have to say Chris! Everyone clap for DJ Chris!" The DJ shreiked.
I frowned and jumped off the stage, I was pushing past the crowd of cheering people when I bumped into a hard rock.
"Hey! Watch where you're going!" I screamed. But, when I looked up j saw a hooded figure he was about my height hut a little taller and he was wearing nothing but black. I looked further into the hooded area where his face supposedly was supposed to be. I gasped, He has teal,blue, eyes made sejak the ocean it'sself, he had black,jetlike, hair swung over one eye and piercings on his nose, and eyebrow.
The figure pushed me out of the way and continued to the dance floor.
I took a deep breath and walked over to the Bar. There Chris was waiting."Claire's..." He berkata casually.
"Whatever... I'll be back... Count on it.." I grabbed a can of Coke and stomped out if the 00.12.
There was a blanket of cold air that brushed against my face and bare arms which made me shiver. I had to hurry atau I would freeze. So, I picked up my pace and started to run up the alleys and streets.
I stopped when I saw my- Well My mom's friend's house with a living room light on. "Damnit..." I cursed under my breath and slowly walked up the steps trying not to cause any noise. I pulled my key out and stuck it into the key hole and walked in.
I saw the steps and ran for it. But, stopped when I heard a stern"Courtney."
I sighed and slumped down the stairs. I turned a corner and saw Claire waiting on the couch, she had her brown hair pulled into a messy ponytail and her Chocolate skin was sweating.
We were poor... Very poor.
"Courtney.. Where have anda been?!" She screeched. I winced but pulled my serious mask on."No where..." I turned around and tried to run upstairs again but a hand caught my arm which made me face Claire.
"Courtney, Your mother told me to care for you! anda know what she would have done...." I snapped my arm away from her grip and focused my sight on her."No, anda don't Claire. anda don't know what the Hell my mom wouldve done..." I ran upstairs and into my room...
I saw a portrait of my mom beside my katil and slammed into the wall.... "Why did anda leave....??" I whispered.
